I'm not sure how to tell the original pressing from a current repress....

I'm trying to get a grasp on this myself.  I have a black version of At Dawn (with CD of demos) and it has 'DL-111 RE' etched into it.  I am assuming the 'RE' means its a repressing.  Does anyone know? (Kory). I'm also curious about the same thing with TTF, ISM & Z.  I'm assuming the etching on the vinyl is a telltale of what version the pressing is.

I've no idea, but where was it?  I monitor all things MMJ and didn't see it.  Probably a good thing; I hate to think I'm in a bidding war with forum peeps.  Nice grab.

Other than maybe Gold Hole, you got yourself one of the most special MMJ related vinyls out there. I can't really imagine that any exist out side of Louisville, except the ones that are sold on eBay.

I think you're right on that. I looked a little more on here and It must be only CD. i wish I was a vinyl EP. I got your email, I sent you on too.


Does anyone on here know if there is a big difference in sound between colored vinyl of the Acoustic live EP? I can only find the colored ones but not the black one, which i believe is the first pressing.

I have 2 copies of Acoustic Citsuoca, one black and one red (some say, orange) vinyl.  Got the colored copy as a collector, not an audiophile.  I haven't listened to them side-by-side.  Also, I doubt the black vinyl I got was original pressing.

The Funky Precedent is claiming there is a fourth color-way (a 'goldish brown/yellow on top of the brown/yellow, blue/white & new badman repress) to the Chocolate and Ice and I think he might be right - remember when people were claiming their brown/yellow had a green tinge to it.  Can anyone confirm?

I just ordered Z from amazon on vinyl. Does anyone know if all the Z vinyls have "Chills" on it? It only listed the CD track listing on their site.
