Sidenote - I actually worked the Fox stat truck at a Texans/Redskins game.  I was responsible for live updates of YAC and turnovers and any other odd stat.  Got in on the TV that it was the 1st Redskins game ever where two RB's went over a hundred yards in the same game.  DOn't even know if that was true.  Ladell Betts and Kenny Watson.  That's right, they picked up social workers off the street like me and put me in the stat truck.  That is some intense, high energy work!  I had to sit in the trunk of a Jeep Cherokee so we could race Steve Tasker and Don Criqui to the train station in DC on time after the game.  They got a raging police escort.  Criqui was a dick but Tasker actually apologized to me for having to sit in the trunk.

Googles "raging police escort"

Have fun, and since you'll miss him tonight at Carnegie Hall.........

While in the New York Metropolitan area for an appearance at Preservation Hall's 50th Anniversary Celebration at Carnegie Hall, Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews will make a stop at East Rutherford, NJ's new MetLife Stadium. The New Orleans prodigy will perform a "soulful rendition" of the National Anthem this Sunday, January 8. The New York Giants will then face the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL playoffs. Trombone Shorty will then board Jam Cruise for a series of performances.

GO GIANTS!!

Nice! Maybe a little of the Big Easy vibe on scene will stir something in Eli's blood.

TeBro v RosinBroger

I like the Steelers to run away with this one but maybe there's one more run of Tebow magic.

Great games by the Saints and Texans yesterday.  Whatever happens, next week's matchups are setting up nicely.

probably better for steelers fan to be humiliated in Denver rather than humiliated in Foxboro.

Humiliated by a team in Foxboro the Steelers beat this year already???  ;D

Funny thing is, this is the first time in a long time Im not sad or disappointed the Steelers year is over...With a gimpy Ben, gimpy Woodley, injured Pouncey, and then this game Keisel, Hampton, Starks go down, there's no way we could beat all of the offensively talented teams ahead of us the next 3 games. Im actually kind of happy because IMO we had almost no shot but have a draft pick around 5 slots higher.

Really? steelers couldn't beat the offensive juggernaut that is Tebow and Denver, so you now have the insight that they probably wouldn't have been able to beat 3 more offensively talented teams and win the Super Bowl? i.e. you would have been humiliated in Foxboro (you are actually making my point for me).  :)

Stick to cutting and pasting your answers here scotty, it makes you seem more knowledgable.  ;)

Seriously WF ;D  As if I need any more ways for Tebow to crack me up, the new TeBro fashion line is straight hilarious!  Keep 'em coming Timmy.

Another little Tebow nugget:

Tim Tebow's favorite bible verse is John 3:16. Yesterday, he threw for 316 yards, and averaged 31.6 yards per completion, and it was a guy named John who told him to pull the trigger.  :D

I'm going to try, and not read too much into that, but I've got to admit it's got me scratching my head a bit.

I really hope so. Atlanta-era Vick and a 160lb prima donna wideout who's afraid to play inside the numbers sounds good to me. They cant possibly look at Vick as the franchise QB after this season. He proved yet again that he can't stay healthy and he took a step back throwing the ball. I respect Reid and think they'll always contend for the division as long as he's around, but if they don't make McCoy the focal point of that offense they're fools.
