Southwest is having some pretty sweet deals, maybe you can fly from dc area to Manchester and rent a car? No idea where that festival is in Maine though.

Unfortunately the festival is not very convenient to public transportation....

I wanted to, and entered the same contest you won (congrats, btw).  However, I promised my wife I'd skip Bangor, a 4.5 hour drive, as its just days after our return from Chicago/Lolla and the day before Boston, this in exchange for the two-fer in Canada last month. 

I'm seeing a flight from Baltimore to Bangor, then to Boston the next day (I thought you said you were in for Boston) would run just under $700.   :o

I kinda figured, if I'd won, I'd consider it fate and go or give it away on the forum.

I hope they offer for Charlotte, but I wish the soundcheck tickets were not $25/pop.  Signed poster would be cool, though.

ABSOLUTELY! They wouldn't open the doors to the public at the same time as the sound check. It will probably be a 1/2 hour of a sound check and then doors open at 6:00. Even if there are a ton of people in the pit for this, it's still totally worth it.

I have a GA ticket I'm not using, I got through Roll Call. Is there a way I can transfer this to you? Sorry if this question's been asked a million times.
