Guys I got GA, but my buddy got shut out. If anyone sees any become availabl I'm looking!
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

I got GA floor as well but my buddies waited too late. Sucks the floor is already sold out. Wish they would have just set it up like they did for rites of spring with it being outside and byob. Oh well, just pumped to see them for the third time this year. Hope to get to the rail but unlikely since earliest I can get up there is around 7. Should be fun either way.
And all that ever mattered will some day turn back to batter, like a joke.

rmpotsy

i too am looking for two floor seats.  if anyone hears of anything please let me know.
out go the lights it begins

cedwards

I was able to snag a floor seat. That's crazy that they sold out so quickly.

I'm bummed that a lot of you guys didn't get GA, but I bet some floor tickets will pop up again before the 20th.

Also, maybe this is a good sign that some people actually care about this show since it sold out so fast....I just wonder how many they set aside for the general public and how many are still available for students.

I hope so.

hoping for a couple of oldies, suspicious of them adding the show because vandy paid out the yingyang for it, but that shouldnt matter.. theyll probably be looking forward to a nashville date anyway.

There's just something about the atmosphere at the Ryman that really works, isn't there? I always prefer attending shows there too. The crowd is usually better, the acoustics, and the history of that place just always make for a more pleasant show.

Never seen a bad show at the Ryman.  Never seen a good one at Vanderbilt either.  Coincidence?  I think not.

The Ryman is considered sacred ground, by some. Playing Vanderbilt is the equivilant of playing a large frat party.

Be the cliché you want to see in the world.

It is, Tracy. Maybe we should just bring the frat vibe and wear our golf pants and popped collars. Well, the guys can. We can just get reaallly drunk and start crying.

Couldn't have said it better myself.  Between no Roll Call and the disparity between trust fund kids paying $15 while the rest pay $40+ I'm kind of sick over this one.  All of that will disappear once I'm in front of that giant green eye with Victory Dance blasting into my skull though I suppose.

TRUTH. I say we all dress weird, pack the rail, and forget about everything happening behind us.

Vanderbilt has just announced that Trey Songz is the opening act for the show. Vanderbilt must have picked him out. I hope he only sings three songz. :-X

What the he'll is Trey Songs? It looks like this show is the ultimate test of will power to see a jacket show

WHAT the F***?!?!?!? I had to look this up to make sure it was real. And it is. Wow. What a strange combination. Anyway, Trey Songz (yes, with a Z) is an R&B singer. I'd liken him to R. Kelly, minus the peeing on women. Here's a link to one of his songs, to get you guys in the know.

Should be an, um, interesting night?

Anybody remember a few years back ('06 or '07) when the Commodore Quake was headliner Modest Mouse with opener Gavin DeGraw?  It was a shit show.  Nashville got screwed on this round.   >:(
