So I got the email about the soundcheck.  It says the be there from 245-315 to pick up the passes, and they will let people in at somepoint after that.

Got the email, too.  Shit, it might say 2:45 but we are gonna get there @ 2 o clock just to be sure.  Cant wait to see everyone there...this is so exciting.
Yikes!

I'm sure if you get there by the earliest time, you're going to be fine. For both soundchecks I was at, we lined up, and didn't enter the venue til at least 15 -30 minutes after the latest time on the email. As a matter of fact for LA, we were a little late arriving ,and had no problems getting our sticky pass or securing a nice, close, roomy spot  in the pit when they finally let the line in.
"Where's Jim going?"

So f-in pumped for tomorrow.  I've been so busy with work that I hadn't allowed myself to think too much about the show, but now that I'm less than 24 hours away from soundcheck I can barely stand it!!

One of my best buddies is busting his Jacket cherry tonight at this show. Is there a pre-show meetup that I can point him to? I didn't see any mentioned in this thread. Just curious.
Homer no function beer well without.

Haldon

Not sure about a pre-show meet up, but the girlfriend and I will definitely be beading out to grab a beer and some food after the soundcheck.  If anyone is there and wants to meet up, I'm down.  I'll be wearing my Patrick clock arms shirt

Weather is looking pretty sketchy for tonight. Rain on the forecast.
Hoping there is a good crowd tonight.

Getting Ready :D.

Probably be there early enough to get to hear the soundcheck , ................

As long as it's not raining :-\........the good new it'll be over 70 tonight ;)
My Perfect Day = Snowboarding on a powder day in the trees & listening to my favorite music.

Soundcheck party was cool.
Knot comes loose
Laylow
Evelyn

Jim interacted with the crowd.  Told us to save an abandoned waterpark where they were forced to shows since the venue doesn't have the facilities

e_wind

Wow sweet songs for sound check. I wonder, was lay low as intense for the sound check? Or were the boys more relaxed and chilled like a rehearsal?
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Haldon

My bad.  Way to messed up to be posting things right now.  They played lowdown, not
Laylow.

And there were no showers for them.  I'm getting off te interweb

+2

read this thread too quickly and saw the setlist posted above and I was like what the hell happened?   But then I improved my reading comprehension.

APR

From memory but here goes...

First four are correct order:
Victory Dance
It Beats
First Light
I'm Amazed

Lowdown
Wonderful
Heartbreakin Man
Off The Record
Masterplan
Steam Engine
Evil Urges
Golden
Highly Susp.
Lay Low
Smokin
Touch Me Part 2
Gideon (long ending)

Encore:
Circuital
Day Is Coming
Black Metal
OBH

I might be forgetting a song.  The show was great.  I love Lowdown but thought Jim's vocals were a little low during it.  That wasn't the case the rest of the night.  Masterplan was just awesome!

Delta Spirit was great.  The lead singer was trying to get the crowd into it but didn't have much luck with that.  They still played a great, energetic set.  Patrick came out to drum on one song.
