KFC Yum Center is free ... Fingers crossed!

This would be amazing, I had a great time last Halloween in Louisville and would love to celebrate NYE with the boys!

IF they do indeed play a NYE show I wouldn't be surprised if they hold off on the announcement until after these December shows go on sale, music industry can be weird like that...don't want people to opt for nye show over ones in their particular region. Or maybe I'm in denial and want to keep the hope alive. I'd love to spend New years in the bluegrass state.

I've got a weird feeling that you're right, and that this will be announced in a week or two.

I think Louisville is a real possibility for NYE. At this point I would rule out NYC, SF, & LA. I could see it happening in Chicago as well.

I was seriously hoping for a NYE show, but when MSG was announced, I went all in, buying tickets, hotels, flights and everything, figuring that show was the "big one". So I'd be a little bummed to see a NYE show announced now, knowing I couldn't swing it. But I have no doubts MSG we can make MSG just as huge of a party.

Still itching for a good time to take my brother-in-law to a "hometown" show as he is from just outside of LOU origionally.  I know MSG will be awesome, but would of probably skipped that if this had been announced with the other dates.

Would be nice to see the Louisville Youth Symphony Orchestra with MMJ again, they were great!

I'd say it's not going to happen. That's just me.

I would have to agree with you...They might just need a holiday with family back home to recharge them for a spring tour. I'm still thinking they'll release the T5 box set before the holiday season...Santa knows it's on my list!

Kinda thinkin a hometown NYE show is more likely than T5 box set being released before xmas and that's just more hopin than anything...

There's a TON of work into getting those shows ready for release and I can't imagine the boys have had too much spare time with all the touring they've been doing.

I don't know if I just don't want to get my hopes up, but I still have a hard time believing this...

they announced the Yum Center show 3.5 months before it happened.... its less than that much time until NYE, and NYE is a bigggg day

I'm with you on this, I wont believe it until I see it announced by the band.

walterfredo

at this point part of me wishes that it doesn't happen anywhere this NYE.  Pure selfishness on my part...getting hitched in May and should really be saving the pennies for that.  But, don't think I could pass on an NYE show, I'm 2 for 2 so far...need to keep the streak alive!

NYE shows take a lot of planning, bands and fans alike. I remember the MSG show tickets going on sale in August for the NYE show and it felt like forever for December to roll around.

I'm sure if it were going to happen we'd have heard something by now. Maybe they'll do a show sometime between Christmas and New Year's seeing as the tour ends in NYC on the 14th.
