12/1-LA>12/2-SF>12/3-SD...a logistical nightmare. Hate to miss a show in Cali but that would make for some difficult travels.

If the band can do it you can do it. Last time I went to a show in San Fran (Bridge School last year) I drove to Bakersfield after the show and then drove back home to Tucson the next morning. I would be doing all 3 if it weren't for important classes on Thursday and Friday but I will def be at the SD show!

YES, this is amazing news. 4 shows in one year all down here in Southern California.

I'm so excited that it just feels like a early X-mas. Anyway, I've never been to this venue before but it has to be much better than the place they normally hold this annual event. (RIMAC ARENA-aka Basketball Court in LA JOLLA)

I'm really glad you included that quote, I was worried it'd be a short show with the four opening bands and was considering skipping SD. Now I'm IN!!!!!!

Hello All... Wondering how much of a set MMJ will have at SDSU? Is this a full on festi type show with other bands... Planning on LA>SF, not sure SD is in the cards but I always try! Espec. if the show will be substantial from them. I highly recommend SDSU. I have seen two MMJ shows that were pretty empty, yet pretty awesome there! 8)

Just to avoid confusion:

The show is at University of San Diego (USD), the Catholic college near Mission Bay, not San Diego State (SDSU) nor at University of California at San Diego (UCSD) in La Jolla. USD is located at: 5998 Alcala Park San Diego, CA 92110. It does get confusing with so many universities in San Diego! :D

HOLIDAY HOOTENANNY SET TIMES! Blackout Party will start at 7:30 in the beer garden (then do sets there between main stage sets), Delta Spirit kick off the main stage at 8pm, then Matt & Kim at 8:50, Two Door Cinema at 9:45 and My Morning Jacket at 10:45 !!

Better take a nap on Saturday, there is no curfew at Jenny Craig Pavilion. By the way, My Morning Jacket played until 4am at Bonaroo in 2008, it was a 4 hour set.

Where's the pre-show meet up? I'm thinking Ballas Point Brewery, walking distance to the show, but I hear its tiny, more of a homebrew shop with a few tables and plenty of good beer. I found a couple other dive bars close by, but they don't sound all that great.

Anybody else got any ideas?
