Here's another one for our favorite Buckeye.

Youngstown:

Springsteen "Youngstown" Montage

And one for you too Jeff. Have you seen any of these over the years? This guy has 6 or 7 River Tour rehearsal tunes on his playlist.

Wreck On The Highway from The River rehearsals:

Sweet version of the classic Thunder Road. Just Bruce, Roy on piano, and about 70,000 backup singers.  helluva way to open a show,IMO.

I've posted this one before, but it's so nice I had to post it twice!

Without question one of my favorite live Bruce moments ever, and fortunately for me I've been there to witness some great ones. This request of Higher and Higher  was amazing. The video is great, and I wish it captured the energy in the whole Spectrum as well as it does the band's. The place was rocking all the way to the rafters, and when they "took it higher" it was one of those moments me and anyone there will never forget.

Great "flashback" article in Rolling Stone. Talks about Bruce doing albums at the end of the 09 tour, and how he did WIESS and The River at MSG. Including a video of NYC Serenede that closes the WIESS album. An absolute masterful performance, and really wish I knew my forum friends here then as I was lucky enough to be at both of these shows, with an extra ticket taboot!

They totally nailed both of these albums, but WIESS was just amazing,IMO. I think by the smile on Bruce's face at the end of this video he knows they nailed it!

Funny note on the a-hole holding the NYC Serenede sign at the end. This joker continued to hold that sign up for the rest of the show, blocking people's views even after it had been played!  we were like dude put it fucking down. Just because it was really nice doesn't mean he's gonna do it twice!  hell, he only did it a handful of times in many years.

Eric, Did you see where the Boss performed Wages of Sin for the first time ever the other night in Finland? Glide magazine's Hidden Track covered it a couple of days ago. Also, I saw at the same site that they without warning played Born to Run in its entirety in Stockholm. Pretty lucky crowds for both shows.

Yep, I did,  and thanks for the heads up in case I didn't.  I love that he does shit like that, and anytime he plays something off "Tracks" is fine by me.  he's gone back to doing albums at some shows, and has done Darkness too. I'd expect BITUSA to be next. I was lucky to catch five different albums in 09, and a few of them more than once. (Once for BITUSA would've been more than enough for me)

Here is Wages if you haven't checked it out :

Here's one of my faves, and a bit of a rarity. I've been fortunate to catch it a couple of times, and it's always a nice treat.

The best part of Born In The USA being so popular for me was the amount of singles it produced. Not for the singles themselves, but for the B sides.

Here's a couple of goodies:

The B side to I'm On Fire - Johnny Bye Bye:

And BITUSA's B side - Shut Out The Light:

It wouldn't be a proper B side post without the B side to Cover Me

The B sides off of BIUSA were probably among the best B sides Bruce ever put out for any album.

I just to buy all of the Bruce 45's just for the B sides.

Glad to still have 'em.

I hear ya Jeff, and totally agree about the quality of BITUSA's B sides. I bought all  of the singles for the B sides too.   I used to have a 90 minute cassette of just B sides, and I wore that sucker out.
