Jim and Carl's Guitar Rig

Hey does anyone know how the hell they get their guitar's to sound so damn sweet? (besides their overwhelming musical ability to make the guitar say what ever they want)

What kind of effect pedals and amps do they use?

All I know is Carl recently switched from a Mesa Boogie to an Orange amp.  Jim has some strange shaped amp he's been playing all year, but I have no idea what kind it is.  Two-Tone uses a Mesa Boogie Bass amp.

No idea on what the effects are and I'll be impressed if anyone knows
