Apparently I'm not going to be sleeping on Friday night.

I'm looking for someone to sell me on some of the other lesser known acts so I can brush up on them between now and then.

1. There will be a Roll Call presale for a limited number of single day tickets at a low introductory price for Forecastle Festival beginning tomorrow, Thursday, March 1st at 12 noon EST. This presale will run for Roll Call members only for the first 24 hours! Simply click the link on the Roll Call home page and enter the password "rollcall" when prompted.


2. There will be a special Ticketless Forecastle Bundle made available to Roll Call members also starting on Thursday, March 1st at 12 noon EST. This Bundle DOES NOT INCLUDE TICKETS. I don't know, maybe it's just me but festivals lineups are not looking that good to me pretty much across the board.

I do think this is a cohesive lineup that will attract the right kind of crowd as mentioned earlier, it's just not a great line up for me.

Oh well :-)

Just pasted Vespa's excellent work into Excel  :) ...51 acts announced so far...at least 24 more to come...

why 24? in 2010 it seems like there was at least 90 acts
edit: there was just over 100

I think on their website it says "75+ acts"...but I'm happy with 90+ if it happens  :)

I think this will attract the perfect crowd really. No one overshadowing act to crowd out the rest of the performances on any day, and a good mix of festie vets + and unknowns. Also, Wax Fang.
