yeah, I'm still holding out hope for Alabama Shakes, J. Roddy, Swearing At Motorists, Dead Confederate and the like.

This fest could definitely use a sprinkle of Da Bidness!
We saw J Roddy at the small Ottobar in Baltimore - were right up front and it was great - a lot of energy.  I did lose a considerable portion of my hearing, however.  As a result I purchased Etymotics to make sure I can still hear MMJ when I'm 90.
Which show were you at?  The CD release from 2010, the two nighters last year, or the one night Friday night show last year.
It was last year and it was a Friday or Saturday night.
gotcha.  well if it was the friday night from the two nighter, I figure we have a picture of you as we were on the rail by Billy and some friends took some photos of us from the balcony

that would be cool.
we were on the left hand side of the stage.
send along the pix if you have it.

Wild Flag and Mars Volta would be tight.  Although I gotta say I've been digging on some bassnectar since the lineup drop.

Me too on the Bassnectar. Timestretch EP.
We understand it's the '90s.

Well we couldn't expect them to drop the biggest surprise first right!

Haha this is what I'm sticking with. If they have a big(ish) name to drop, it's not coming for months. You just don't get big adds a week after a lineup drops. Tier three tickets are definitely going to be "sold out" by the time they make their big(ish) addition.

As much as I talk shit on electronic music, when I'm at a festival, in a good mood, with my friends, and under the influence of whatever...I never mind groovin a little

Y'know, I'm glad you said that, Eric.  Despite my "meh" comment above, it'll be a good time regardless.  I would never have thought that I'd listen to acts like Bassnectar or Sleigh Bells, but I actually dig 'em.  In a crowd, with friends and strangers both (and with a buzz), it'll be a great time.   :D

As long as it isn't Skrillex, I'm good. Or that can be when I head back to the pool for awhile.

Sounds like a plan to me!

Back in my college days, I was always up for a little electronic dance action while shrooming but as I've grown older, I'm not so into that sort of thing anymore.  I'm not into Bassnectar at all so I'll be up for hitting up the hotel bar a little early on Friday if there are no changes to the lineup...

Sometimes Stumblin' distance is the longest mile. It depends on how bad you're stumblin'. Your house would be cheaper than the hotel bar. If you'll get a baby pool, a hose pipe, and a slip n slide, I'll bring the keg! Somebody else will have to supply the cornhole board.

MMJCOBRA

Anyone know if the headliners play unopposed?  Really hoping to catch Girl Talk and MMJ on Saturday, especially since I don't have to worry about pit access ( thanks Roll Call!!).
