OK, I feel like this question has been asked a meelion times, and now there doesn't seem to be a roll call section on the forum.  I've asked this a few times and seem to get different responses....

I would like to buy tickets tomorrow, but not 100% sure we can make it.  If our plans fizzle, can I have my roll call tickets left under someone else's name at will call?

non-transferrable... :undecided:

just lost a ton on the LA shows..
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

Do we know what time the presale starts? I don't want to be refreshing at midnight lol

Pre-sale is at noon EST for both PC and Boston.  Since Boston is seated, better to target Boston first.

Just had a monkey wrench thrown into my plans. The Felice Brothers (my other favorite current band) announced a NYE show in NYC at a tiny theatrer. It's probably cheaper (no hotel needed, no travel) and easier for me to do. I'm thinking I may end up there instead of MMJ in Boston. Definitely still going to do the Port Chester 3-night run but I may be going the easier route for NYE

i'd love to see a Deer Tick/Felice Bros lineup there...tiny little place...i heard about this show and am keeping it a possibility for NYE if i stay in town..

I agree, that'd be amazing. Doubt that Deer Tick show up. Probably doing their own thing but I'd welcome it for sure.

I think that we'll definitely see Diamond Doves play with the Brothers. They are Elvis Perkins backing band and started their own sidegroup. They play horns for Felice Brothers at most NYC shows since that's their central location.

Either way....should be awesome.

wow, sorry Penny.  That's just outright offensive right there. I'm sorry you had to lose your money.  What a fan club (that you have to pay $$ to be a member of no less).  I will not renew next year.

Northern Neighbour

In some instances, we were allowed to transfer tickets. It depends on the company and the venue; Roll Call doesn't really have a say on transferring tickets.

Same here but only half as much as you. Even tried calling the venue box office but they wouldn't do it.

Hopefully TubeTop has better luck with them in person, and can get a hold of my tix for the last two shows at least.  Even if she has to give them away, it'd be much better than them going unused.  I would feel a lot less bummed about not being able to get out there if I knew at least someone was getting their face melted in my place.

Really wish there could be some sort of a Roll Caller - Roll Caller transfer policy.

I'm not so sure about that.  I've had tix transferred at will call at many, many venues, in fact have never been told no, other than roll call tix.  I think they set the policy.   And if not, mail the freaking tickets.

Northern Neighbour

There have been occasions where people were able to get their tickets transferred throughout this tour. I was a benefactor of one such instance, where I went to Chicago without a ticket. However, Ewind couldn't go but had tickets, and I had no problems getting the tickets at will call.  All I had was a note saying I was authorized to pick up the tickets plus Ewind's and his girlfriend's IDs.

But yeah, mail the tickets!

Don't laugh (and this may have already been discussed) but how exactly do we order tix tomorrow in the presale? I haven't bought tickets since last August and I feel like back then I got an email with a password or something. I'm assuming we just go to the Current Dates of the Tour section and click on either "Roll Call VIP" or "Tickets" for the respective show? Any info would help, don't wanna screw this up haha

Did you have their actual Id's or a photo copy? I'm guessing a copy, but want to be sure because I want to try a similar thing with my LA tix.

Ok sweet, thanks! And I know the big debate is whether this is going to be seats or GA on the floor. I have tickets to Jack White at Agganis later this month and they're listed as Floor 1, G13 and then has seat numbers. Doesn't say GA anywhere on the ticket, but from what other people are saying here, it sounds like the floor seats for that show are definitely GA. Not sure if that means anything for this show, but maybe floor tickets that are listed as being specific to a row and seat will turn out to be irrelevant. Fingers crossed but either way I'm beyond excited.

Pretty sure the reason for a seat/row # on ga's is so they can keep track of how many they've sold.  That ga1 for Jack White is front floor according to the Agganis seating chart for his show.
Definitely no floor seats for his show.

there are two sections of the floor GA1 and GA2...just kind of separated but yes no seats.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but it's been awhile since I bought through roll call.  Why are there two buttons? What is the difference between "roll call vip" and "tickets"?  Any word on how many tickets we can buy for this show?  thanks
