There going to be VIP for these shows, and also travel packages, with or without VIP for Boston...  Spoke with cid entertainment...

soundcheck parties have never been offererd in tri-state area so idk how it works. do you buy your tickets first then buy your soundchecks or vice versa? i wanna secure my 3-night pass before anything else. some people are saying the option will be in the night 1 tickets page while others say it will be on every page

Northern Neighbour

You can select your tickets and add them to your cart.  Then you can go back and add soundcheck tickets to your cart.  Past experience was that we were given 20 minutes to complete our orders.

You can also submit 2 different orders - buy tickets first and then soundcheck.

The latter - just make sure you're logged in to the main Roll Call site.

Just got this e-mail. Someone let me know if this shouldn't be posted here and I'll remove it:

My Morning Jacket will take the stage of the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY for three consecutive nights in continuation of their Spontaneous Curation Series. To keep with the spirit of the series, no songs will repeat for each of these performances. The renowned landmark, built in 1926, once housed acts such as The Grateful Dead (18 years in a one-year span from 1970-1971), Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Dead, among others and was was recently re-opened this past year.

Every Port Chester ticket buyer will receive a complimentary download of the show to be delivered shortly after each show. Each night will be part of the Spontaneous Curation Series, allowing fans to help create each night's setlist and no songs will be repeated.

Two days later, My Morning Jacket will make their way up the east coast for an unforgettable New Year's Eve performance at Agganis Arena, with support for the ledgendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The special New Years Eve show will not take part of the Spontaneous Curation Series in order to ensure an evening full of surprises.

The dates and accompanying Spontaneous Curation Series hastags are as follows:

12/27 Port Chester, NY at The Capitol Theatre #mmjPC1

12/28 Port Chester, NY at The Capitol Theatre #mmjPC2

12/29 Port Chester, NY at The Capitol Theatre #mmjPC3

12/31 Boston, MA at Agganis Arena

Roll Call Presale tickets for all four shows will be available TODAY, Wednesday 9/12 at noon ET at mymorningjacket.com/events. All tickets are Will Call Only.
Pricing for the Port Chester shows is as follows:

Single Ticket GA and Reserved: $64.13 including processing fee

3-Day Bundle GA ONLY: $178.08 including processing fee

Boston GA Tickets are $56.82 including processing fee

There will be no soundcheck parties offered for these dates.

Disappointing there won't be soundcheck parties, but at the same time I realize the band will be playing 4 shows in 5 nights.

Seems like it. Someone said that we shouldn't go on what the employee at the theatre said because they may not know the full story or something. Maybe they'll be sold as seated to keep track of the tickets but the floor will be GA when you get there.

yea...and now i can work a full day instead of having to take off to see an afternoon soundcheck (tho i would've preferred the latter as i may be taking off anyways)

I, for one, am not dissappointed that there wont be a soundcheck. I'm totally fine with not having to be at the venue several hours earlier than usual to stand in a bunch of lines in the cold for 3 songs and some dick jokes

Not me. I dig the soundchecks, and love getting the show poster out of the way.

You guys do realize you don't have to do soundchecks if you don't want to go right?
