YES, I was thinking this while reading that great complete covers thread. The jim/calexico version is great and I can't even imagine a jacket/phjb version!!

I'm on board with this although I suppose we should have started this before the Port Chester/NYE shows. May have to wait awhile to hear it unless Jim busts it out on his solo tour.

It was on Joe's setlist last Sun night.  When I grabbed it after the show I asked why he didn't play and he said he chickened out because he knew the crowd was discerning.

It was played at least one time live, with Jim and Calexico at the Beacon as part of the music from the movie concert. It sounded great as I remember. Would love to see it get played again but they would need to have a trumpet player.
