I just had either the greatest thought i have ever had.  Or the worst.  Alright we are starting a campaign to get Red Rocks happening 2013.  What we do is go log into facebook and go the MMJ page. 

Then we message them with the statement: My favorite rocks are red and my favorite jacket is my morning one. 

That is similar to how they announced it last year.  Maybe if we get the fan base to do this we can convince them that another Red Rocks set of shows is needed again to blow our minds.  I write this as i listen to the 2011 Red Rocks Official Bootleg.  SO GOOD WE HAVE TO HAVE THIS HAPPEN!  I NEED A SWEET VACATION THIS SUMMER AND IF IT IS EXACTLY LIKE LAST YEAR'S I WILL LOVE IT.

the red rocks calendar is quickly filling up.  the possibility of a third straight august 4th show is now taken by steve miller band/doobie brothers.

that is a sunday though, and friday the 2nd and saturday the 3rd remain open as of today!

Those of us that went to the Port Chester run will remember that showing on the Capitol Th. marquee as playing right after the MMJ shows was - Steve Miller Band. 

There's a pattern here, folks.  Evidence for JFW3 I say.

Rr won't happen this summer, but there will be at least 1 multi show run in '13. 

Keep in mind that the boys will be working on he new album late summer/early fall with Jim covering some festivals solo (Newport etc). 

They will be test driving new songs before the year ends

Hey all! My 2 cents is this would be the shit, August 2 and 3. Jin and I were wandering around before the second show last year and found these campgrounds:

and although they're within eyeshot of the highway, they are very close to RR and they have 2 yurts. I just punched in the info to rent the Sunrise yurt for 5 nights, 6 people and a dog and it came up $170; very affordable. I'd rather have the shows in hand before I reserved the spots but I thought I'd put it out there.
