Mr. White

This is my favorite Lou Reed album. If you've never heard it, give it a full play. It's really good. (New York - released in 1989)

This is my favorite solo Lou Reed (post Velvet Underground) studio album:

If you include live albums, then this is my favorite Lou Reed release.

You aren't kidding when you say his music lives on.

I love this quote I saw in an article about Lou Reed yesterday from Brian Eno:

"The first Velvet Underground record sold 30,000 copies in the first five years. I think everyone who bought one of those 30,000 copies started a band."

It is truly amazing how VU has influenced so many bands/artists even still to this day!

Lou will be missed but, as Mr. White said, his music will continue to live on!
