I've seen multiple posts about the awesomeness MMJ playing 4 shows, or can't wait for the next two shows, and just to be clear, tonight is the Flaming Lips on the main stage, followed by a MMJ DJ Dance Party in the late hours. They don't take the stage for a traditional show again until tomorrow night.  I'm sure the DJ set will be fun, and who knows, they may find a way to work in some MMJ tunes or something, but I feel like it's going to be far from a 4 MMJ show experience.

Not trying to damper the mood, the sets have been just awesome, just clearing up what seems to be a misunderstanding among multiple posters.

EDIT: Or what the guy above me just posted.

Man, that show last night was one for the ages. The boys were energetic and electric. Off to recover under the Mexican sun...

It'll be far alright ... far above. Last night was a set many will still be talking about for years to come. All in all, these 3 nights of 2.5+ hour sets will feel like a 5 night run when it's all said and done.

And you're not dampering the mood at all, that's impossible to do when you're at a beach resort in January with unlimited amounts of booze

Don't the attendees get access to the recordings once the shows are over? I thought I read something about a release for them. Really, really hope to hear these shows in full soundboard glory.

Also, haven't seen the guys much around here but Flaming Lips and Pres Hall are def. staying here. Wayne Coyness ate dinner next to us two nights ago and I just talked to the tuba player from Pres in the breakfast line

Jackets N Pones

Did Gideon have the extended jam? I'm assuming so since it was the last song.
Here it is, in its entirety, our cover of ELO's Telephone Wire

Come Closer

Amazing show last night. I saw a shooting star during Honest Man. I was walking back to my room afterwards and a security guy was blocking the entranceway. Sure enough 10 seconds later the band walked by and straight up the stairs being escorted to their rooms I assume. They looked really happy and gave a quick wave.

I am so happy for all that could attend this trip! These set lists are making me dizzy........Continue to have a great time and know that great vibes are coming from those of us in the States and beyond that were not able to make it!

I'm thinking (hoping) that Bobby should join MMJ for a Pete Seeger tribute in their final set. I'd love to here them cover "Turn, Turn, Turn", but any Pete Seeger song would be great.

Think you guys will get to hear a new song on the final set?  If not, I'd expect to hear some sort of news from the new album soon enough.
