I thought of that too, but once the whole album is released it would become irrelevant. My prediction (at least for 1 side) is their cover of Harvest Moon with Neil Young from the Bridge School Benefit.

Count me as one who is incredibly down for the first single as a RC exclusive. Maybe that's why they delayed shipment? If they ship out next week, that'll put arrival riiiiiight around OBH time, which I think is when we're all expecting SOME sort of announcement about the new album. "Circuital" came out first as a RSD exclusive single too, so maybe you're onto something here.

Or maybe MMJ management just needed more time to get their shit together after such a long layoff.

Either way, if "Harvest Moon" is a B-side, my mind, body and soul will be alight with fuckin' fireworks of excitement.

Is this something that has been reported on and is imminent? Or are we just assuming that because there's a new record coming that the first single should be on it's way?

They just finished mastering the new album a couple weeks ago. I don't think it's a coincidence

While it would be cool to give roll callers the first chance to hear one of the main songs off of the new album, I think it would be even cooler if they saved that single for RSD and picked a new song that didn't make the cut for album A. Maybe this could be a song they feel doesn't jive well with the rest of the leftovers for album B, if such a song exists. Then, pair that with a Harvest Moon and you have a timeless roll call 7"

That's what Modest Mouse did a few weeks ago. They sent the new single out to their select fan club members first, and then a week later released it on ITunes.
Never know? Would be awesome if they did this though!!!! Wishful thinking

Where are the singles being sent from? Sacramento? I didn't get a tracking number, probably because I chose the cheap shipping method when I bought my Roll Call membership.

Yes, shipped from Sac(mine is now in IL, 2 be delivered FR in IN). I chose cheapest shipping and got tracking #.

Again, I don't believe in coincidence. It looks like the single will arrive for all Roll Callers at about the same time as the OBH-ers hear it live in Mexico.

Does anyone have the customer service email from the last thread? I think it was Michelle. Ground (ctrl) is telling me that we don't get a vinyl because we renewed after the 2013 deadline, but before the 2014 started. So basically we signed up for a years worth of Roll Call and had no benefits and only received the partial package.
