are most out of towners staying in philly (which hotel) and you thinking ferry or uber?

do the ferry unless the math works out. $7 round trip vs. $25 for the far lots/$30 for the closer lots

one of the many reasons i hate Camden!!!  parking blows there and the venue isn't the best.  Haven't been to a show there in almost 5 years, LOL

That being said XPN fest looks to be a great time.  Have fun everyone!

Just trying to get an idea of everyone's plans. Doors are at 7:00 so what time are you guys planning on hitting the lot? 4:00 -5:00? Too early/late?

Lots usually open two hours or so before doors but since the fest will be going on in the park across the street I'm wondering if the SBC lot will be open earlier than 5:00?

Anyone know for sure?

Don't know for sure, but probably going to be aiming for 4, depending on traffic.  I am hoping that the lots will be open since the fest is going on.

Good news! Remember the torrential downpours and flooding for Americanarama? That was insane. And it ALWAYS rains when they play the Mann too! Looking forward to great weather.

Yeah that flooding was crazy!  :cheesy:

Don't forget the earthquake that hit the east coast the day of the Mann show in 11 I believe it was!  I felt it at the beach as I was leaving for Philly, and I'll never forget the shelves in the liquor store shaking big time. Never experienced that before, and hope to never again.

Oh man I forgot about that!! I was working in Philly and our whole building shook. I remember thinking an earthquake will not keep us away from the show! Hopefully no extreme weather events this weekend. We're overdue for a nice day, haha.

Did you go to the Mann show the next year? On the back of those baseball cards they handed out for the 2012 show it has a funny reference to the quake.

WHOA! " We actually experienced an Earthquake at The Mann"......."That set the tone for a psychedelic experience".....

I sure hope they do the Mann on the next tour through Philly!

According to this list of set times for the whole fest, MMJ is slotted for 9:30 - 11:30. I sure hope that's the case!

Looking forward to seeing you guys.

I have no doubt this will be fantastically amazing. My only fear is the ferry ride back to Philly after the show. It may be time to lose my Uber virginity if that is as bad as some say ...
