sorry for the numerous posts, but does anyone that was here have a video of that state of the art?
I sure hope so. I know I didn't was in such shock when it started just wanted to listen.
I can tell you this they definatly made it a Jacket song.
I'm still wrapping my brain around how great those two nights were, band was on fire, crowd was into it.
And by the way Dave Mattews was sitting right behind me Friday night. Not that I'm a fan but glad to know he was a fan of MMJ

and his crew were a bunch of douches.  we were right behind them and i was none too pleased with his friends.

We thought the same thing, just glad we were in front of them not behind them like you. Sorry you had to put up with that.

They had 2 complete rows of seats reserved for them (Just wonderful for a GA show, I still don't see why they let them do that. $$$ I'm sure) and they showed up 5 minutes before Jacket took the stage. Most of them were there just to yak to each other and didn't even seem to care there was a show going on that everybody else was there to see. Typical "Look at me" going on there. If I'm Dave Matthews, I say something, he should know how annoying that is.

Both shows absolutely blew me away. Some of the best live music I've ever witnessed.

I am still just in awe of what went down. This statement is one I stand by also.

That's what I keep checking back for....
All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be.

nuggets

i would imagine i've brought my bad luck with me out west. seems shows i'm at never get recorded or if they do the person who said they taped it never comes through with the goods. only thing i have is the last nye shows in boston. sorry to sully the beautiful pnw with my no bueno mmj recording mojo.

...and i'll will reiterate the statements already made......those two seattle shows were some of the best mmj i've seen. i can't recall any run of songs i've seen live from mmj that top the closing of the set on fri. just phenomenal.
Oh shit, run!

I agree nuggets. The Friday show was mind blowing. After letting a few days pass I think I can confidently say this was the best show I've seen since PC3 (which coincidentally also features War Begun>IWSYS). This may go down as the best MMJ show I've seen yet. And I'd like to think I'm not the type to regularly proclaim that shit is the "best ever." This show was fire folks, and Jim was doing this thing where he'd catch the overhead lights off his guitar and it turned into this beam of light that he was aiming throughout the crowd. It was crazy. I really hope a good recording surfaces because they killed. Hopefully was beautiful. Dondante featured a crazy Carl sax jam at the end, longer than usual is seemed. The whole thing was magical especially when combined with Seattle's quality edible selection.

I would not argue with you in your opinion of the show.  I wasn't there and just looking at the setlist for Friday night, I was like DAMN!  That looked like one hell of a show!!!     Which is why I want a recording!!!

I too am returning to look for a bootleg.

Still reeling from both shows but in particular that Friday set.
I am a seasoned Live music fan and it was my 13th MMJ show an it was easily the best Jacket show I've seen and might have cracked my all time top 20 or so.

i wasnt so concerned with the seat saving as much as the attitude and behavior.  other than the above, there were two dudes right in front of us in particular.  one of them was trying to crowd surf and after 2 polite straight arms to keep him off my wife the third came out a little more forceful than the others... that seemed to stop the crowd surfing but not the other obnoxiousness.  i would like to add that dave didnt really do much at all, he was very chill but got super excited during they ran of all songs.  his wife was really getting after it.  she seemed like she was a big fan, or just happy to not be at a DMB concert.

You must have been sitting right next to us. We were the row behind them and those assholes completely ruined night 1 for us. During Hopefully, of all songs, one special female member of the DMB entourage turns around and says to her friend "lets play who around us would you fuck?" At that point my husband finally lost it and asked her to shut the fuck up...to which she responds "you're ruining my vibe, man." Ruining YOUR vibe? Entitled assholes.

This is my pride and joy picture...my favorite picture I think I have ever taken in my life...I took this Saturday night at the Moore Theater!!!  I hope you all enjoy it!

swerver

I was planning to only see the Friday show, but was so floored again I had to come back Saturday. Here's the old reflecting guitar mentioned up thread. Also hoping for some recordings!

walterfredo

still no Seattle recordings huh? Boooooh!  Of the 5-pack of west coast shows I caught, Seattle 1 and SF 1 were the major highlights.  Starting to give up hope on Seattle 1.
