Decided last minute that I'm gonna drive down for the Raleigh show from Richmond and was surprised to snag pit tickets on TM for face value this morning.  Just a heads up for anyone looking, there's still pit tix available as of this morning.  Anyone from Richmond going by chance?

I'm ecstatic right now- was not expecting such an amazing show and diverse setlist (especially varied from the charlottesville show). This band never ceases to amaze - onward to two nights in Atlanta!!

MMJCOBRA

Great setlist!  Love how they are starting to mix it up a bit.

Shout out to the Pit Crowd first 5 rows in front of Jim. Everyone was delightful and we had dancing room and folks were enjoying the show vs talking.

Great 2 nights with band. The acoustic Film review was intriguing as the band discussed Jim Henson and his influence on the art of movie making. Jim discussed how fickle the movie industry is and how his solo album was to become a film but hasn't been able to get it made. His comment about buying music vs free trading downloading was insightful on an artists viewpoint.

The band said they needed a break after such a busy schedule and the show last night highlighted a fresh group ready to take fans to another level of Ecstasy!!!!

Monday night seeing the entire group walking down side walk in Durham to Carolina Theater without security was a treat. Then after show ate next to Patrick and Bo. Spoke to them and mentioned how their opening slot on 2006 Pearl Jam tour allowed me to realize how special a band they were. Patrick mentioned how fun that tour was for them.  Yesterday Carl was coming in as we were leaving and thanked him for doing Acoustic Film night. He mentioned it is was fun for Band to share their viewpoints together and then shook our hands and thanked us for supporting them.

Thanks to all the folks in Pit. I would say age wise we were the old folks boogieing and appreciated the kindness from all. Rain Karma worked so no one got soaked.

Patrick mentioned how he gets into the zone once on stage and trusts his 4 friends to lead him. Last night Patrick was definitely in the zone going nutz on the Drums.  :drum:

They boys must have some love for Raleigh... Set back in '12 was my favorite (of 7 shows now) but hot damn if this doesn't compete for top set..

The tribal/jungle/mario/techno outro to Touch me was fucking nuts...

Boys were groovn' on another level last night.

Please someone have some audio! haha

SmokinShootin88

Yeah I loved this show -- saw them exactly one week prior in Charlottesville and I tallied eight of the songs played in Raleigh were ones I didn't hear in Charlottesville (40% of the show). Hence, you can never see them enough live! Hillside Song and Strangulation were awesome.

Played in Charlottesville but not Raleigh:
Believe (Nobody Knows)
It Beats 4 U
Wonderful (The Way I Feel)
Like A River
What A Wonderful Man
Evil Urges
In Its Infancy (The Waterfall)
Thin Line
Mahgeetah

Played in Raleigh but not Charlottesville:
Hillside Song
They Ran
Only Memories Remain
Holdin On To Black Metal
Strangulation
Run Thru
Cobra
Gideon

NICE REPORT!!! Im so glad all we're hearing is great news after every show. Just that the band is fresh and kicking ass and feeling good and delivering, as only they can, night after night a feast of rock and roll and musical exploration for everyone

This set was fantastic.  The crowd, overall, was really into it, but the boys were full throttle with a day of rest.  So glad the rain didn't really hit and cut this one short.
Alive or Just Breathing

This set is fantastic! taking their general openers, givens, and closers completely out of the question. This setlist is fantastic. Wish I could have witnessed. Would love to hear Tropics cut in as an opener.
Doesn't matter what you're doin', as long as you're losin' your head

Love this..^^^^^

Janecool, Erica, and me were all up on the rail Jim side that night.  WOW!  What a set!  Def my favorite, even from the 6 sets over the last 2 OBHs.  I literally was floating on the music, friends.  It was amazing.  Janecool, Armando and I were also at The Dark Crystal the night before.  Bummer that we never saw the guys.  We did walk past what was most likely their bus about 3 times on our way back and forth to grab a bite to eat and something to drink.

I liked the energy more the next night in Charlotte, but the set in Raleigh was outstanding!!

The bus was next to their hotel. After dark crystal Patrick Carl were eating at bar in hotel and you could see them as you walked up the street. You were so close to crossing their path.

Late post but wanted to share my pictures from the show. It was my fourth time seeing MMJ and it just gets better every time.
