I'm assuming since the audio is going to be officially released and its possible that the video may be released as well it would be frowned upon for someone to have ripped and upload the video stream? I was out of town for the stream and I'm hoping I get to watch this at some point!!

So I burned the streaming show from Red Rocks last night. How would I go about sharing that here and more importantly, is it legal? I mean I am not selling it. So is kinda like showing people pictures of an amusement park I paid to visit? Bad analogy but  not wanting to cause myself any trouble.....

Thanks ahead of time for any advice.

PLEASE SHARE MY GOOD SIR! but also be very careful to not get in trouble or bring heat down on this wonderful forum but I really appreciate your hard work and dilligence

I know this is a bit much but I saw UNSTAGED live online and was an amazing experience but for this one I just couldn't due to time difference (I'm in Australia).
I remember that there was a download link on this forum not long after as someone had captured the stream. Did anyone capture this stream or is there anyway to pay now to watch it?
More than happy to pay but I think the show was only available for 24 hours after.

Your fine to share.  No worries.  I'm part of a group that also captures live streams and shares them.  We can get it out there if you would please upload your capture to a site like google drive or we transfer?  We can then get it out to others.  Your not going to infringe on the band or do anything illegal.  Mmj is recording friendly.  Ive personally live recorded them over a dozen times.  PM me and I can help ya.  Thank you.

i'd definitely send a DVD-R to be whomever with return postage.
Don't you ever turn it off

I will gladly pay for any combination of audio and video... preferably on DVD or blu-ray but I just want to relive this night! I tried my best to keep my phone in my pocket and not go too crazy on taking pictures since I knew there would be plenty of professional shots... And I didn't want to get caught on camera in the front row looking down at my phone :)
I'm in love with this soul; it's a meaning that I understand

Btw!  If you look in the tapings for 2015 here you will see a link for the bonnaroo webstream capture.   So no worries.  :-)

Wasn't the Roo web stream free? I don't know much about this type of thing but I would think the fact RR was a pay per view would make it a problem to try and just put a capture out there without any repercussions. What if the band has plans to release this on DVD or something? Surely they'd want to protect their property, put it out the way they see fit, and not have to compete with free copies of an unedited version floating around. No?

Look what happened with the AXS TV broadcast of RR12. It was up on YouTube for a while but has been pulled. Whoever owns the rights to these types of broadcasts whether pay per view or pay per channel surely doesn't want ripped versions of this stuff out there, and has the power to pull them down. I'd bet the same would happen pretty quickly if any unauthorized release of RR15 gets out there. Maybe some copies passed around between fans would surface but I really doubt they'd last long on any online site where people can download them for free.

I was wondering too!  I don't remember if it said how winners would be contacted.

Can totally understand what your saying regarding youtube.  It's not always a good idea to put them on youtube.   The worst that happens then?  It gets removed.   If they do decide to release as a dvd/blu-ray?   Then you're talking about a whole different creature.  That will be a completely remastered high quality release.  A webstream capture is just a representation of that.  There are many of us that missed this performance and it would be ashame not to share it at the very least privately.   Take for instance this.  All of the phish webstream captures are being shared either privately or they even end up on youtube.  Same thing with the GD50 shows recently.   These bands understand this only helps keep them relevant and is a great marketing strategy.   When the GD releases those shows on blu-ray, which they are,  most if not all of us will buy it because it will be a professional release.  Think back to when mmj played the terminal shows?  They didn't allow recording because they were going to release it but we still haven't heard or seen anything from that.  As a taper I'm very grateful for people that capture these web streams and do audience recording like I do.  That preserves these performances for future fans.  Heck!  I was 10 years late to the mmj party.  But it was a great audience video that turned me on.  Imagine how powerful that is?  I'm so grateful for that and at the time I was so pissed that I'd never heard of mmj.  Thanks all.

Another thing.   The web streaming was already paid for by those that wanted and could do it.  As far as I know?  They are not still selling it.  I sure wish they would but im sure they don't because of copyright and royalty issues?  That has nothing to do with us as the fans.  It's just an issue between the streaming service, venue, record compnay and the band.  Generally these things work one time only unless the company that recorded it and streamed it wants to pay more in royalties?   At that point it becomes a financial loss for them and thus we don't get the opportunity to purchase it at a later time?  Anyway.  That's why having the ability to share it with the fans by fans becomes important.   There is no profit in that.  It's just sharing and passing it on.

Fuck yeah. Seriously, I would gladly pay postage and send 10 DVD-Rs to whoever burns this for me, seriously, as the Nick Offerman guy said, I will do that too. You are all awesome and work so hard to continue the treasure that is this band's music and message
