So, guys and gals, what gets your vote as the best setlist of the tour thus far?

(if ya'll have already done this in a thread elsewhere, I apologize)
You need it.  That's for sure.

That's a HARD Question hmmmm.....

Of the seven shows I've seen so far, Chicago 1 and 3 were tops. Leaning towards Chi 3 edging out Chi 1 by just a hair.
"Where's Jim going?"

I'd pick Red Rocks.... they played everything except rare tunes and played a greater number of songs.  One can say Amsterdam.  But with Red Rocks at something like 28 songs compared with about 22 in Amsterdam, if you could only see one show in 2015, the longer set would win out.

Hard to do, but here's my attempt:

#3 OBH Night 2 2nd Set
This one gets a slight penalty for the covers since it's close with #2 and #1 otherwise:

HONEST MAN
LUCKENBACH, TEXAS@ (Willie Nelson cover) >
MAMA DON'T LET YOUR BABIES GROW UP TO BE COWBOYS*%@ (Waylon Jennings cover)
BENNIE AND THE JETS (Elton John cover)
PHONE WENT WEST >
STIR IT UP# (Bob Marley cover) >
PHONE WENT WEST
COULD YOU BE LOVED# (Bob Marley cover)
TOUCH ME PT. 2 >
GIDEON

#2 Red Rocks 1st Set

I THINK I'M GOING TO HELL
SPRING (AMONG THE LIVING)
ANYTIME
STEAM ENGINE > ONLY MEMORIES REMAIN > STEAM ENGINE
PHONE WENT WEST
MAHGEETAH

#1 Atlanta Night 1 Set 1
Gets the nod at #1 for me due in large part to that dirty, dirty Sabbath-esque Dondante

TONIGHT I WANT TO CELEBRATE WITH YOU
OFF THE RECORD
THE DARK
SPRING (AMONG THE LIVING)
WORDLESS CHORUS
O IS THE ONE
WONDERFUL MAN
WAR BEGUN
I WILL SING YOU SONGS

I have to go with APR here and say Red Rocks.  28 songs, epic venue.

But it doesn't top OBH.
Cuz it's been so long since someone shattered me.

OBH2015 was amazing and I don't get why its had a lot of flack

Come Closer

It was windy and band wasn't that tight imo. Still good shows.

For me, Chicago x3 was epic, taken together.  Milwaukee x2 was more personally meaningful.  There were some other gems in the tour- Red Rocks, Amsterdam, Niagara, Detroit, Atlanta...

However, I can only truly judge from those I attended.

The winner is...

Milwaukee, June 21, 2015 (Father's Day)

This was the second night of a 2-show run I attended with my 13 year old daughter, Katherine.

Highlights in bold.

SPRING (AMONG THE LIVING) (I requested they open with Spring and got my wish!)
COMPOUND FRACTURE
TOUCH ME I'M GOING TO SCREAM PART 1
OFF THE RECORD
FIRST LIGHT
IT'S ABOUT TWILIGHT NOW (some Tennessee Fire love!)
HOLDIN ON TO BLACK METAL
KNOT COMES LOOSE (I think this was my first live Knot)
GOLDEN
THIN LINE
WHAT A WONDERFUL MAN (appropriate tribute to Jim's dad on Father's Day)
ALUMINUM PARK (a rare and favorite from EU)
EASY MORNING REBEL (anything from ISM moves me!)
DONDANTE
WAR BEGUN
PHONE WENT WEST

----------
An amazing encore set!

I WILL BE THERE WHEN YOU DIE (I requested this, as it was the last song I played to my Dad before he passed a year ago April; Patrick promised me it would happen and it did- Jim solo to start the encore set)
STRANGULATION
RUN THRU
ANYTIME
MAHGEETAH (a great closer... Okonokos, anyone?)
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

I wasn't thinking of OBH as part of the 2015 run.  Counting that, I'd have to throw night one at OBH in the mix for best set.  Chicago #3 is pretty insane too.

Having been at both, though, I'd put Amsterdam over Red Rocks.  Yes, it was shorter, but such a sweet, sweet setlist, both in terms of the songs played and also some of the runs of songs (Heartbreakin and Mahgeetah to open, Thin Line-Dondante-Memories, the At Dawn three-fer to end the main set).

I'm also not a huge fan of the Steam-Memories-Steam, which takes Red Rocks down a just a bit for me (though I still absolutely loved the show).  I love that they are playing with their songs and doing cool things like this combination, and it was very cool once for the surprise factor, but as it plays out it dilutes the power of both songs, particularly Memories that got much less than a fully realized treatment at Red Rocks.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

It's really hard for me to understand saying that the band wasn't that tight at OBH2.  To me they were very focused and tight as compared to OBH1, and went into it with a whole set of new covers worked up for the event.  They clearly put a ton of work and preparation into those shows, particularly considering they hadn't done any shows in a year.

I thought they were fantastic at OBH2.  And the wind, while it may have affected the sound a bit, really added to the ambiance, with the smoke and lights, and the hair in the wind.

+1 for ATL night 1

Tonight I Want To Celebrate opener, The Dark, O, Wonderful Man, War Begun, I will Sing You Songs, Most gritty rockin Dondante ever, Easy Morning Rebel. And that encore was something else too, Smokin From Shootin, Touch me Pt 1-2, Cobra, Highly Suspicious, Gideon to close it off.

I wasn't at Red Rocks so I am sure that may have something to do with not thinking that was a best set, lots of great songs, but no real rarities or deeper cuts. Still wish I could have been there instead of the couch though :) Looking at the setlists of the shows I didn't attend I would say Milwaukee night 2 would have been an amazing set to experience.

I guess I mean relative to the summer tour. To me, the rust showed a little bit that's all. I'm not at all saying they were sloppy or anything.
