Just updated the songlist on 'From Nashville To Kentucky', and I count nine new songs on the two "Early Recordings" volumes (three on v.1 and six on v.2), and besides the 11 tracks from the  "At Dawn" bonus demos CD there are 7 previously unreleased "The Tennessee Fire" demos on the "At Dawn & Tennessee Fire Demos" disc!

Well, I do hope these will be available in Holland...

I have already pre-ordered them through the Darla site, but if they somehow will not be available over here, drop me a line, and I'm sure we can get it arranged to get you the discs!

The tracklists look pretty damn great, though! A lot of titles I never even heard of! In fact, there's a lot of titles not even mentioned in the huge list on Ger's page. And that list is huge! Hurray, new undiscoverd songs! I'm quite excited.

Just a heads up if you haven't preorderd yet...I think if you order them individually you get a better deal on shipping.  It doesn't make sense I know.

I ordered the first two and it was like 5 dollars for shipping...then I realized I was missing a cd and ordered the other one and it was 2 dollars.  Specificy numbers might not be right, because i did this about a month ago.  However, the shipping was cheaper for the single cd.

Oh, and is "west end girls" an old 80's cover also?  I'm not going to lie...there is one kind of music I completely hate listening to and thats 99% of the crap from the 80's.  However, I will entertain the idea of hearing MMJ making this songs worth listening to.  ( Even if its not the song I'm thinking of, "Take my breath away" is an 80's song right?)

MMJ_fanatic

pet shop boys as interpreted via Kentucky--hmmmm

"Take my breath away" is by Berlin and most certainly an 80s song, as it was on the "Top Gun" soundtrack-which was the most 80s movie other than "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" or "Breakfast Club".

I don't know if this is a cover of that Pet Shop Boys song, but I love it already if it is!

on a really seriuos not, i can't believe u erased my post for this thread, that was classic. it did not offend, or insult. this is really not right dude. it was a joke im sure some of us would have appreciated for a laugh. its not in the mmj spirit to censor. especially for no reason. unless you have some sort of anti humour thing here. i think maybe you should e mail me...JLCW76@hotmail.com. i really do believe that this is completely wrong. sorry about the negetivity, but this is one of my passions. (along with mmj)

Ah, memories of the 80s.  If you're old enough to have been either a teenager or adult around 1985, you could not escape "West End Girls"...it was everywhere.

Joy Division is an amazing band, my least favorite song is "Love Will Tear Us Apart"  I can't wait to see the movie they're making about them.

I'd love to hear them do a Pet Shop Boys - I was a Teenage PSB Fan! No kidding...  ;D

I'm also very curious about that comment by The Mollusk, now... Post it again, dude! And add some obscene stuff as well. C'mon, Riny, nothing wrong with a little obscenity from time to time.
