Good spot!
If these are imports, where are they coming from?

Amazon lists it as an import-release on Phantom, but I don't know anything about Phantom. CD Universe lists it as a Darla (US) release, which makes more sense. I guess we just have to wait and see what this release will be and if it will see the light of day. I know there has been some rumour earlier on about a release like this (if I remember correctly on this board as well), it's supposed to have some hard-to-find stuff from the early days ...

peanut butter puddin surprise

Funny how it's listed as Phantom on one and Darla on the other...Darla's site has nothing on this record.

Hmmmm.....
Runnin' from somethin' that isn't there

here's a word from darla:

'The Darla archives contain many unreleased early My Morning Jacket recordings, the best of which will be compiled for release along side hard to find favorites previously available on singles and compilations only. Stay tuned...'

CC

oh and...

'this fall the beloved demos disc will be available once again with the addition of some choice demo versions from The Tennesee Fire sessions as well.'

Far out!! ;D
Anybody who doesn't have it needs it--I love that version of 'Phone Went West'.  And I can't wait to hear the TF stuff!

Both the "Early Recordings" and "At Dawn & Tennessee Fire Demos" (scheduled to be released September 7th) are available for pre-order at the Darla website (http://www.darla.com/) as we speak!

Magnix

Just noticed on the Darla website the "Early Recordings" title has been changed to "Early Recordings v.1" ... so more to come in due time I guess ...

PapaJoeBear

Make that more to come now... now on the Darla website it shows a Vol.1 and Vol.2. That's 3 new cds all due out 9/7. Excellent!
