Yikes!

I put on this song just b/c of this thread - I hadn't listened to it in awhile.  Right on about those vox.

Plus, some of the best lyrics Jim's written.

utonynashm

Hahaha yeah...I gotta work on that.

Me, too.  When it came on the other night at the bar, I got teary.

Man, I feel like I say "me, too" a lot about the songs that  make people cry.  I don't cry very much, honestly.

Last night me and my brother jammed a bunch of stuff, and one was Bermuda Highway, and it was reeeeeally nice.  I made him tell me "The Story of Bonaroo" again.  And we think we found his head in one of the crowd shots.

What was the story of bonnaroo?  If it's too long to tell, don't worry about it...but i'm so intrigued for some reason now. :)

Ah yes.  I was there too my friend.  For the first half of the set, my friends and I (and i'm sure the rest of the crowd, and especially the band) were watching the storm come in.  And it was so incredible when it started raining...Jim got so much more intense.  It was like the rain, and the possibility of dying, didn't phase him or the band at all.  CRAZY show; still ranks as my #1 live show I've ever seen.  The musical and theatrical elements of it combined into one unstoppable force.  But I didn't have the up front place like you...lucky stiff:)

Haha, don't worry.  I've said worse stuff than that.

Bermuda Highway is an interesting mix--first Jim sings about being drawn in by an ass (tittilating) then he's singing about a meek guy (Jesus?) with a short, bitter fucked up life, mindbending...

not for sure but the "Meek" part sticks with from the sermon on the mount ("the meek shall inherit the earth")
