I agree, their writing "style" is a bit on the pontification side.  They also heap praise like Astroglide, and criticize like Epicak.  There's no middle ground, really, it's either a total insert-your-favorite-sexual-metaphor-here (ha! insert) or a vomitous diatribe extolling the horror that is something they disdain.
