Question about the free download...

How does the free download work???  Can it be sent through email or is it a one computer thing.  I am just worried about pre-ordering the album because I have had 2 bad experiences with doing that (getting the album a week after release, and never getting it at all).  I want the download but I dont want to get the album late.

after finishing the pre-order you get a link to a webpage where you can download the song. the link will self-destruct after 48 hours.
