I've been on a Lowdown kick recently.  It's pushing all my buttons that need pushing.

I've been grooving to The Bear a lot today, mostly from the recent Knoxville show. I love hearing them play it live.

Me too!!  The Okonokos version in particular!  I cannot get enough of it!!  I've been watching it over and over and over!  Lay Low just ended, and it knocked me on my Ass!!  Now it's Dondante....OMG it just doesn't let up!

Hello there.  I'm new here and new to MMJ.  The song I'm hooked on now is Gideon.  I've watched it on concert.tv on ondemand.  I have no idea what the lyrics are but when he starts gutterly screaming ("yeah" ) I break out in tears.  I'm hooked.  I'm also loving lowdown.  I'm going to see them Dec 1 in Philly and I'm trying to absorb all the MMJ I can.  :)

wow... you are really lucky to be discovering these guys right now. (I remember how amazing it was for me not too long ago!!!)... you also have impeccable taste, i might add...  ;)

you are really in for a treat on 12/1.   expect to enjoy several "hair-raising" moments during the show when you literally want to jump out of your skin and through the ceiling.... for lack of a better word, it's truly an "electrifying" experience.

see you at the show!...

I just finished listening to The Tennessee Fire in its entirety....What a soothing album!  It nearly put me to sleep, it's so relaxing!  Now I have "I Will Be There When You Die" on Repeat!  ;D

There are very few bands out there that give me the "hair-raising moments" that I love.  I'm learning that this band is full of them. I'm so looking forward to the show.  My brother is my music soulmate and he likes them too.  I surprised him with a ticket......he's quite happy!

The song really adds up to the melancholy surrounding this graycoated Saturday.

Phone Went West at the Ryman was unbelievable...almost brought me to tears.  I've seen a lot of bands there and they're all usually pretty good but JJ's voice in that place was like a choir of angels.  Dondante brings out the same emotions for me too.  Guuush!
You had me worried!!!
