We can come up with a better name for this celebration later, but this should do for now.  Basically we just meet up in some beautiful green field under a big sky (somewhere in KY?) and worship the music and our friendship's that have developed from it, one night a year, every year, until eternity.  We talked a little about this in another thread but I decided it needs a thread of its own.  We can discuss our "Battle Plan" here.  We need ideas and a list of who would be interested in attending.  Dylan and I basically decided it's going to go down even if it's just the two of us sitting around a bon fire throwing peeps at each other, then we will jam our acoustic guitars until they turn into nothing but kindling as we dance around the bong fire wearing nothing but Viking helmets.  I guess we should also pick a date soon, that way people interested in joining us can start holding the date.  It needs to be warm enough that we can dance naked the entire night, of course.

Yeah, if we can find someone with a farm that would be ideal.  Spring sounds good, I don't really want to wait till summer anyway.  We can use the bourbon to keep us warm.

This sounds awesome, what would you think about a doing it over a weekend, maybe camp out.  Under the stars. First annual MMJ  festival, fire eaters and sword swallowers.  Lots of jack daniels( or makers).  
Name the time and place. I would drive the 6 hours one way for that.

I would do everything in my power to be there.  March, April and May might be tough with the new baby on the way but I can probably swing it!  I say you just pick the date Brian, and whoever can make it can make it.

I would stay away from June 14-17 since a lot of you lucky people will be going to Bonaroo.  Weekend before and after probably not good either.

Exactly what I need in my life is a late spring road trip to Kentucky (or thereabouts) to congregate with some like-minded MMJ people. I'll be there if it happens, bearing much bourbon and peeps!

this will be geat.  We should have a stage for MMJ tributes, kind of like a live tribute album.  I'm thinking a costume contest, maybe a trivia contest, a peeps throwing contest.  We could set up a tent with some fan art.  Maybe we can get Jim to videotape a message to all the crazy fans.  

You can definitely sign me up to be there and play a few songs.  I hope my bass player will be in town so we can really rock you all out.  If not I can still throw something together.  

If we get two things, a place and a date, I'm sure everything will fall into place.
