the sun and moon

Fantastico! But it took some getting used to. Though, I loved "I'm Amazed" from the start.

hizzo

I quite love it, but it's not my favorite MMJ album.
One good thing about music: when it hits you feel no pain.

Probably their worst album, but I still like it a lot.

Ive been listening to it much more than any of their other albums the last few months too

Sassbox

My least favorite by far.  And at the risk of getting stoned (as in thrown at me) when I see y'all next, I absolutely do not like Librarian.  At all.  Is there something wrong with me?  Don't answer that.
God sure baked a lot of fruitcake, baby.

Janet

I really like it and think it stands up well against their entire body of work.

And Sassbox, I'm with you on Librarian.  To me, it is a like a novelty song.

I don't like Librarian either. I like it when I don't think about what it's about, or don' listen to the lyrics, but some of the lines are cool (everything would be good/if everyobody gave/like everybody could), but I don't see the relationship with the librarian, plus, the idea of the "sexy librarian" and "simple little beauty"  etc... all that doesn't appeal to me. However, if people like it, then that's cool, too.

Having said that, Evil Urges is the perfect album for where the band is. I can't wait to hear what's next!

i think it is great.  I also believe it is wonderful that the boys have 5 full lengths, all different, and i love them all.  It depends on my mood somedays as to which i listen to.

How do sexy librarians not appeal to you?? Are crotchety old cashiers at Rite Aid more your style??

it's such an old, worn out cliche, I think that's why. Sexy nurse, sexy school teacher, sexy librarian, sexy mom, etc...

Now, if you got an ode to crotchety old cashiers at Rite Aid, then I might be down with it (but she has to be sexy).

Ghostess on TV

My least favorite too.. Although I am always happy to hear Evil Urges and Touch Me Part 2 live.  It's still a great album.

maybe the most important album since Flaming Lips' Yoshimi...
The lyrics are pure genius.  A real call to humans for a revolution in humanity, and reminds us that it is completely natural to act upon our primal urges...do as thou wilt.  An anarchy album disguised as a versatile and pretty rock opera.  Glorious!
That's what I think of this album

Wow.  Very well put.  That's how I feel about it but wasn't able to express it properly.  Thanks!

I think this "Devil's Peanut Butter" song or whatever its really called shouldve definitely been on EU.

If they didnt want to cut off a song, then they shouldve at least included it. This song rawks

EU is my least favourite, including their EPs. Some songs I like though, and the album's tracks come off far better live. That being said, I think EU is a perfect transition album.
