SF Sold Out - Please Help!

I am in Seattle and after having nearly bought the tickets online, I decided to ask a friend to buy them at The Fillmore directly to avoid paying the Ticketmaster fees. He went on Sunday and found it to be sold out! It must have just happened, because I was online just days before. It was meant to be a Christmas present for my boyfriend.  :(
I can't believe how much "scalpers" start charging for these tickets.
Does anyone know where I can get tickets, hopefully still at face value? I wanted to take him on Saturday the 30th. He's ALWAYS wanted to see them! Ugh. This was perfect, because we happen to be in San Francisco for that weekend only (he's visiting from England as well).
