The Bear, in the kitchen of the restaurant I worked at on the summer of 2000......instahooked

At Dawn I believe.  My brother saw them at 9:30 club Jan. 04 I believe right around the time Quaid and Cash left, like right before maybe?  He said I should check them out.  Later that year my friend read about them in Rolling Stone and bought At Dawn, and he played it for me.   I enjoyed it but since I didn't own it I didnt get to listen to it really.  The same friend brought Z over shortly after it was released, and that was when I was slammed on the ground and fucked silly by the all-mighty MMJ nymph.
Passion dripping from the coyote's eyes,
He can taste his blood,
An' blood never lies,
Pale face die. - Kiedis

One Big Holiday in an American Eagle Store.  Intrigued I inquired and the staff did not know who the group was.
I had purchased It Still Moves (earlier that day)after reading the Harp magazine article Dec 2003, yet I hadn't played it yet.
20 minutes later after Magehtah, Dacefloors and Golden, there it was the Song.

At Dawn was the first song when I bought the CD, then Lowdown was the first song that got me into them, I didn't love them til a bit later.

First heard live- Anytime

What came first, the music or the misery?
