Merriweather Post set time is 9 pm. Curfew is 11.

I know two hours is less than some other shows but I'm sure it will be quality to the max, and hopefully this makes some of you feel better knowing that it won't just be 90 min.

I hate them too, I's jus kiddin'. 2 hours works, I just need some live jacket in my life.

Thanks for the update.    Definitely a bummer.   Was holding out hope for some switched start time but appreciate the info.   The band will have to rock 20% harder if the show is 20% shorter!

i sort of wish i didn't know that it's going to be shorter.  sometimes ignorance is bliss.  you don't miss what you never knew you didn't have.  (err, does that even make sense?)  wish we weren't getting a shorter set but, i'm sure the boys will blow our minds to bits (repeatedly) within those 2 hours.  get psyched!!!

to throw in something about another thread on the poor behavior of some people in the crowd (see what i did there?  i didn't call them fans because the true fans would never pull that shit) - can we all try to do our part at stopping the stoopids from being so fucking disrespectful @ MPP?  the band does not need to get pelted with glowsticks or other flying objects.

Sure, felt a little guilty writting "I am bummed".  I agree even 30 mins of MMJ would be worth it.   So I hope no-one flames me for saying I'm bummed - I'm still getting 2 hrs of my favorite band after an almost 2 yr break.   At an 18k capacity show, I'd have to think there'll be a LOT of people traveling?!   I was hoping this was gonna be an epic NYE-type experience.   I do wonder why they chose this show for the tour/hotel/package combo thing, if it ends up being a shorter show?!  

Still, if YY is reading this, you guys can return my mood to absolute perfection by any ONE of the 3 actions:

a) move the start time to 7:30
b) throw in a Steam Engine
c) announce a North East tour soon

Seriously, I'm in too and not kidding 1% !!   I'm in for airfare, rental car, hotel, tix already, what's a little more to spend for longer MMJ goodness!

Funny that this is coming up - When I told my wife this whole plan a few months ago, she said "you are spending $___ for a 2 hour concert ?!?!"    With my deer-in-the-headlights glazed look, I could only come up with as a comeback "well, it's probably a 3 hr show".

Now if she saw this thread, she'd laugh and say "TOLD YOU it was a 2 hr show".....
