What about the Sheraton as a sort of "staging area" so we can all head over to MPP at the same time to stake out a massive tailgating area?

This is probably the best plan, although with a bunch of people making long drives to get there, I suspect thatll make this difficult.

I plan on getting there around 2PM and hope to go in ASAP. I really dont believe the gates wont open until 530PM, that just doesnt allow enough time for all the traffic to make it in. Even 4PM sounds questionable.

Maybe whoever could be at the Sheraton at 2PM can caravan over to the lot at that time?? Id assume we'd have at least a handful of cars, so we'd be able to get 5 cars or so in a row to give ourselves a nice size area.

So since its looking like we may not be getting any northeast dates, I had to do my best begging/convincing and got some of my friends to drive down to MD for the show.  Im going with two of my boys who might have heard 2 or 3 MMJ songs ever just from me putting them on the jukebox at the bar, should be interesting......can't fucking wait though

murph - you're pals will not be alone.  i'm bringing my sister who doesn't know too much mmj.  i gave her homework (okonokos) but not sure if she's done it.  it'll all be good times tho, not to worry.

How true are these reports of the band not starting until 9?  I understand if the curfue is at 11 pm. You havetheopener on at 7 and mmj at 8.  This news is not good news.  I saw them last year at penns lament and they went on exactly at 8 pm on the dot and played till 1045-11. Please don't tell me theband is already selling out and performing shorter shows. I didn't realize I was seeing kings of Leon perform.

Does anyone (ALady, bluesky) plan to stay at the hotel? Pennylane mentioned awhile back that there was a room booked through her and I wasn't sure if the space is open. My plans to stay with friends nearby fell through, so I'll probably end up booking a room.

the old Magh33ta was worked up about this but the new Magh33ta is over this.    Accept it and get psyched for concentrated MMJ goodness.   A wise man once said "little we can do, we gonna see it through somehow....."  It's helped my mood considerably.   That and all the pregame talk today.

Then we can head over at exactly 3:25:35PM, the walk should take approx 23:15, We can then tailgate for the remainder of the time, but should seperate into groups at approximately 5:16; So the GA guys have a chance at getting a decen...

Yo yo! I have made the headbands but didn't make a lot, I have other screen printing projects to work on so I was only able to make a dozen or so. 3 for me and my two buddies 5 for the band 3 for my family (the "get funky" headband is sort of a family tradition so I thought I would make them some)  If I can I'll try to make more.

I think the best place to meet up and start the party is at the Sheraton in the parking lot. I doubt they will give us any trouble but if they do then we can move the party to the parking lot at MPP. I plan to be ready to go around 3pm with my bagpipes and a beer. Since the MPP lot doesn't open till 4pm we should start at the hotel anyway. We are all adults. Lets not worry about cops or people from the hotel telling us what to do. As long as we are respectful and not too crazy we will be just fine.

hey I hope it is out there hands. But someone said phish started there show earlier at the mpp.  I just done understand on a Saturday night why they have to have such a late start time. I'm pretty sure Camden has a 11 or 1130 curfew and most shows headliners there will go on by 830.
