Yeah, I've got that GP anthology too "Sacred Hearts & Fallen Angels"  has an excellent cross section of Gram's word and is great to mellow down to!
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

That's one of the great things about MMJ, they make great music but they are such big music lovers themselves. Getting to know the music of Gram Parsons thanks to MMJ, it doesn't get much better than that!

I've heard their version of Stairway to Heaven. Class!

Have you checked out Rubber Walls in the Dolls House by the Brown Dogs.  Its on a local label.  Worth looking out for.
Also try Wet & Windy by Barnie Castle.  A bit folky, but ok.

Haven't heard any Brown Dogs but a couple of people at work talk about them all the time. Will give them a try. A track from Wet and Windy's was on the radio today. Cool, I thought.

I've been listening to Urban Freeway's Caught in the Crossfire. It reminds me of my student days.

i'm loving the new lanegan, though i'm not gonna say it's better than whiskey just yet, which some people have already declared. i just picked up the actual cd during lunch today, after listening to the stream 3 times in a row. guess what i'm listening to now? hehehehe.

john - if you haven't checked out "dust" yet, you better get on it. i like it as much as, if not more than, sweet oblivion.

peanut butter puddin surprise
