2 dates at the Barclays, exactly what I wanted to hear.  Now comes the hard part, getting fucking tickets...

If I do any of em it'll be these 2. Is Barclays smaller than MSG

I've never been there so Im not too sure what the setup is like for a concert, but I think Barclays has the smallest seating capacity in the NBA so it is probably smaller than MSG

in actuality it's barely smaller- capacity is 18200 at MSG and 18100 at Barclays, but in my opinion it feels much smaller than the garden

I knew there was a reason I was single and didn't play roommate roulette on the Mexico trip!!  I'm hoping to get tickets for Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Philly, Brooklyn and LA.  Making a trip to LA to visit a childhood friend and hoping to catch both shows there... gotta love miles awards programs!

A little concerned with how the reserved seating will be, with my mediocre number I usually end up on the sides with a great view, I'm hoping I don't get pushed to the floor behind GA, leave those seats for the general public sale.  Either way I'm looking forward to seeing some of my PJ friends that I haven't seen in a while.
Pretty please with peanut butter pudding surprise on top??

thoughts on the new single? I'm more lukewarm with PJ nowadays but it's pretty good... beats the fixer for sure.

Jeff Murray

Definitely better than Fixer... I'm hoping for an aggressive album myself... doesn't need to be punk necessarily but a good hard driving rock and roll album.  The songs with strings were nice on the last album but I hope that was a one time deal.  I got tired of the same 4 songs starting the 1st encore every show back in '09.

With Mind You Manners and Of The Earth I think the album is off to a good start!  I'm looking forward to the Pittsburgh show!!

Totally agree.  I know for the Worcester show, the 1-6 floor sections are all GA and then there is 7-8-9 in the back.  I hope they just let TM take those, and send non GA fanclub members to the side.

I'm probably in the same boat as you.  I've had some great side staqe seats with my number.  I hope it continues.

i have no idea why i keep rejoining the 10 club. I still havent used it after 4 years and wont for this tour either, since they aren't hitting the midwest or south.

That is unfortunate.  Although Charlotte, NC is in the South.

I usually make a trip around a date if they don't come to my area (2005, 2011) or even if they do (many other years) as I'd like to see them more than once per tour if possible.  Like MMJ, each show has its own unique aspect, hence hitting the road will be a must in October and/or Nov.
Charlotte is the only date I could possibly do without spending an assload on airfare.  I do love the fact that all shows will have a 10c only GA floor.

Will there be more dates added or does PJ just hate playing the south? Would love to see them, but the closest venue is about 6 hours away.

That's it except for Worcester 2 and Seattle 2.

Love it. Sounds a bit different for them at the beginning but the chorus very PJ.

love it as well.  begining sounds like something off Soundgarden's King Animal.  Throw in Spin the Black Circle and Comatose as well.

Wrigley in less than week and a tour!!  I'm a happy camper

Lucky!  They haven't been to Oz since 2009.

Got reserved seats for Charlotte in the lottery today!  Going to start the month out seeing Portugal. The Man then closing out the month with Pearl Jam.

MrWhippy

Got reserved seats for Baltimore and Charlottesville through the lottery.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

Tired Eyes

I got reserved tickets for Hartford and Baltimore in the lottery.

Jenfarr

Got Brooklyn 1 and Baltimore!  And my husband got Brooklyn 2 and Seattle!  Woo Hoo!

APR

Great score Jenfarr and husband.  Wow.

I'm very happy with my luck: got Balt, Charlottesville, and Philly 2.

As much as people criticize (deservedly or not) many of PJ's decisions over the years, they still keep ticket prices quite reasonable.  They could easily charge a lot more (which would hurt ticket brokers and the general fan) and still sell out these venues.

Jeff Murray

I got Baltimore, Philly 2 and LA 2... I'm hoping to grab LA 1 and either both Brooklyn nights or Pittsburgh when the general sale starts.  Won't be easy!

I love how all my friends at an alumni party this weekend were telling me to grab them some tix while I was at it... Um... You guys can grab tix from ticketmaster as well as I can!!

Since they skipped Denver, we decided to go to a citywe've never been to, and where we could do a bit of sightseeing, and selected Charlottesville. We have reserved there, and share the concern that they don't stick us on the floor behind the GA people.

Charlottesville is pretty rad town and in a beautiful part of the great state of VA (i'm from Va Beach).  There is lots of history and some pretty cool wineries if you're into that.  I'm hoping to make this show but there is a chance I might just drive up to Brooklyn.
Don't you ever turn it off

Thanks!  Yeah, both Brooklyn wins are Reserved and 1st choice, so that helped.  And Seattle is GA, only GA I will do as I hate GA, but I'm excited anyway.
