Hey Charles, would be fun to see you again in Charlottesville (we met at the first Neil Red Rocks show last summer).

In addition to the cool things about Charlottesville as a town that were mentioned, it is a great arena.  Very small and has probably the best sound I've ever heard for an arena.  So, wise choice my friend.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

This morning I learned that I also got Vancouver Reserved and Seattle GA.  I feel very lucky that I got tickets for 4 of the 5 shows I was trying for (will try for Worcester in the Ticketmaster sale).

That's great, Bill.  The Key Arena in Seattle is great if you have never been (though I'm not sure there are many venues you have never been to).  Funky old arena with tons of soul.

 classic!

Between the two of you guys, if there's an arena you haven't been to, I'm not sure I'd ever want to go there. It must rank pretty far down on the list of venues if neither of you guys have been there.

I saw the 2 Pearl Jam shows there in 2009.  I love Seattle and look forward to seeing Pearl Jam there again.

I can't speak for MrWhippy but there are some gems I have yet to check out.  Off the top of my head, here are some of my bucket list venues.  I'll limit this to U.S. venues because otherwise it could be a very long post.

The Gorge Amphitheater in central Washington
Tennessee Theater - Knoxville, TN
Palace Theater - Louisville, KY
Benaroya Hall - Seattle, WA
Greek Theatre - Berkeley, CA
Fox Theater - Atlanta, GA (or any of the Fox Theaters really...never been to one)

Last night's show in London, Ontario, Canada looks to have been very good.  Check out the link below for the setlist & reviews of the show.

Definitely gonna try for Philly tix. Missed the Spectrum's final shows, and have to make one this time around.

I got Worcester GA Floor.   Not sure if I should have gone for seated or not, and wondering if I chose wrong.   Oh well, I'm 99% pumped, 1% second-guessing.

I got Charlotte reserved.  Only show I tried for and got shut out of GA but I'm not complaining.  Last night's show sounds like it was pretty awesome.  I like the idea of a mid-set slow down.  Cheers to all that are checking out some gigs this fall!

The mid-set slow down isn't bad, I just hope they don't get redundant like they did during the Backspacer tour.  We all know they have plenty of accoustic songs to play due to Benaroya Hall, so hopefully they throw in a bunch of different songs during that portion of the show.
Pretty please with peanut butter pudding surprise on top??

Got reserved seats for both Worcester and Hartford.

Man, you do get around Mr.Whippy! The arena sounds great, and I just reserved a B & B nearby.

Are you going to the Fiddler's Green MMJ/Wilco show?

The Wrigley's show last night had an awesome setlist. I wonder if they plan to play 3 hour shows this fall?

weeniebeenie

The rumour 'round my neck of the woods is that PJ is going to play the Big Day Out festival. I love the thought that they'd be coming back to Australia but I hate BDO. It's full of drunk bogans. It's the epitome of annoying concert behaviour in all its forms.
How loud can silence get?

ralph

Pretty much confirmed weenie. Worst possible news. The schedule doesn't leave much room for side shows either. Guess this may be the first Aussie tour that I won't see any shows of. Kinda bummed but kinda not either...
At my house, we call them uh-ohs.

weeniebeenie

I will go if I can. Not seeing them at all is worse than seeing them at A Big Day Out to me. Soundgarden suited BDO, it was a smaller crowd and no one was an idiot. That won't happen for PJ.

I was at wrigley and have to say every pj show I attend so does more and more fucking douche bags. I went to the in 2004 and 2006 and it was bad at that point.
