I mean...baseball is still hailed as "America's Pasttime"...but I can't stand it.  It's so fucking boring to watch (sorry to offend any baseball fans in here).  Give me shuffleboard!! :)

i like baseball, but i usually only watch the playoffs.

as for football (american), i could watch any game and get into it.

baseball is america's pasttime because there are millions of people out there who love to memorize all those stats and act like they know something, and i think the game was invented so we'd stop thinking about how we're being brought down by "the man" (that term, "the man", has never been so appropriate)

but yeah.. i follow my braves, as in i watch their games on TBS every now and again or check out the box scores.. and then when the postseason kicks up i usually watch those games because all those greedy bastards are running out that ground ball they just hit because they wanna get that bonus for winning the 'series.

well, the only other major league is in Japan.  so, maybe we should have a series with their winner.  I love baseball, but I am from Boston and we love our Sox.  It is different in such cities as KC and Toronto.  It is quite an interesting game actually.  Golf, now that is a party!

Nah, the world cup is cool because it pits country against country in a duel for GOOOOOOOOOOALS!  It's kind of like going to war, without actually going to war.
