He is back! Yes!!! one of the best shows Ever!!!
http://tour.rogerwaters.com (http://tour.rogerwaters.com)
Yeah he is playing Tulsa in May. I think I'm going to try and go.
i found out about this today. SO FUCKING STOKED.
Wow, he's gonna be a busy guy. Registered for premium seats. Time for a second mortgage!
I'm going to the Nashville show! This should be fuckin' awesome!
Might have to go to this since I missed him on the last The Wall tour. Dark Side Of The Moon was a great show and I'd definitely see him again.
You know what would be nice? If he told us how much the tickets actually are. I'm fine with the presale and jumping through hoops to see him, but I'd appreciate knowing how much this is going to set me back.

;D Very funny, John. No, I am not VIP material. When I saw Pink Floyd back in the nineties, I was in the nosebleed section of an outdoor football stadium. Even there, the sound was amazing. I don't mind paying high ticket prices for something like this. But since bonnaroo is in June too, I really don't want to keep my family from taking a summer vacation so that I can go to the show. I also wish the site would give us an inkling when this presale begins. It is difficult enough for me to buy tickets during the school day. I need time to make my plans...stupid school filter.
I saw this the last go round and it was spectacular. Best "show" ever.

are you serious? what show Johnny? I am thinking of hitting Hartford.
What do you all think nosebleed seats will be? 100$? Less? Elton John nosebleeds at the Yum were like 80 I think.
The nosebleeds in Tulsa are roughly 60 dollars. I don't setting in the nosebleeds, but I think I'm setting the nosebleeds for this one.

I registered for the presale but no commitment. Hartford or Boston, I suppose.

I did not see a Boston. Did I miss it? Obviously that preferred, but since he just came here, I figured he was hitting other cities in 2012.
I had nosebleeds and it wasn't bad. You want to be back a ways anyway just to see all the shit going on.

I've heard Fenway Park was going to be the venue for Boston, and Yankee Stadium for NYC! We'll see, as of now they're listed as TBA.
Wellllllll I've bean invited to the Albany show on June 28..... may have to make a summer Woodstock visit around this! That's so far away though, we'll seeeee 8)
gotcha! boston 07/01 ... don't think that was there when I looked, or I just plain missed it. Anyway, I regretted missing it this year, show got great reviews. I plan to be there.

Hope to join you!
What has two thumbs and Roger Waters tickets?
This gal! :D :D :D :D (plus a hefty debt on her credit card :'(
Nice! I was waiting for an email from rogerwaters.com regarding presale, but no such luck. I believe those would have gone out today, so I guess I'm out of luck.
I hope to go and have been recruiting friends. They're shying away from the ticket prices for the Hartford show ($75-$200). Still, I've got 3 or 4 who might be willing to go middle-level seats ($125).
I know some of you went last year. Was it worth it?

I saw it twice this year (Barcelona & London); cost me a bloody fortune. It is the best "show" I've ever been to. Very difficult to compare to a normal gig, but the sound and visuals were unbelievably good.
Alright, pulled the trigger on 3 mid-level seats in Hartford on June 29. $435!
Can't not do this, though.
$145 buys you a seat in the circled area below.

I'll stop complaining now and get psyched instead!

Based on everything I've heard, you'll be happy with those seats for this show, Johnny.
I passed the last time around, but some friends sat real close, and others about where you'll be. They all said the same thing. Too close for this show isn't all that great. It seems that you get a better audio/visual effect farther back.
I'll be hitting the Philly show this Summer, and maybe Orlando too.

I got the same type of seats, John. I think farther away is better so that we can take in the entire spectacle. Also, a little easier on my credit card. I'll be able to buy the kiddies a few gifts for Christmas and perhaps still go on a few roadtrips to see shows too.
I was at the Atlanta show and it was flipping amazing! (hopefully!) Round 2 in Nashville! Don't pass up the opportunity to see this "show" guys. You won't be disappointed. I promise!
I'm gonna get a cheapy for austin.
Just ordered two "cheap" seats for a total of $140.
I just pulled the trigger for $120 each for Nashville. It was nothing but nose bleed city for $100, but I kept looking and lo and behold dead center, Row A, middle tier popped up and I had to go.

You do realize, Tracy, that your avatar has a pink "I'm a girl" icon...
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I picked up a ticket for the Tulsa show today. Looking forward to the show. I just hope that I can see the stage being as far away as I'm going to be.

This show rolls through town this week. The Wall has never been a favorite Floyd album so didnt get too excited about the show but a bunch of cheap seats have just been realeased for $99.
Should I? I probably think I should....

I think you should! I haven't seen it but it came through Boston for 3 nights a little more than a year ago. Many friends went and it got great reviews. I regret missing it. I think it's a must see just for the spectacle of it all. You can always see a Floyd tribute band and hear the music again but you may not get a chance to see the whole production ever again.

You present a very strong argument! :)
i payed 130$ for my ticket, and would've payed more. I don't know that theres a show/artist I'd rather see other than Waters (except the whole Floyd). I think you'd regret it if you like rock and roll, which I'm assuming you do since you post on the mmj board. ;)
the wall isn't on my list either. DSOTM is one of the very very few records I think is 100% flawless.
