Nacho Libre.  Never seen it before, and I have a weird fascination with Mexican wrestling.  It might be damning it with faint praise, but it was worth every penny of the $5 the DVD cost.
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

Went to the rental store this evening and came home with The Pianist.  Going to watch that shortly.

No Paradise Lost or Dead Man's Shoes db, I'll keep my eyes out when I'm in the city next week.

To hell with poorly stocked DVD rental stores!

I went to my local with a strong desire to pick up a copy of Hellraiser...did they have it? Hell no! Sure, they had 16 copies of Hellraiser 7: Acupuncture For The Damned & 37 copies of Hellraiser 13: Pinhead Gives His Life To Jesus but not a single copy of the original  >:(

I liked Nacho Libre a lot too, along with Napoleon Dynamite. It might be my favorite Jack Black movie, actually.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

Saw 'Buddy' a Norwegian film last night.

Not sure if anyone's seen it but well worth searching out.

Just watched "Step Brothers", that movie with Will Ferrell and John C Reilly

I heard around a week ago that Ferrell vows to never make another sports movie, which I think is a great idea. I had thrown a few back, but this movie was hilarious the whole way thru. And thats important, bc most comedies lately have tailed off in the last hour or half hour.

Step Brothers was great the whole way thru, def 1 of Ferrell's best

Dont be drawn away bc of Semi Pro or Blades of Glory, I agree they both sucked, but this movie was hilarious

"Im goin upstairs so I can teabag your drum set"....
"John Bonhams playin Moby Dick for real!!!"

Dont see Eric Bana in either of those, but

Simon Pegg and John Cho are great

I was never a Star Trek fan though

Maybe this explains why the new Guy Ritchie movie looks good. The Madge curse appears to be over.

Went and seen nick and norahs infinite playlist on tuesday. Pretty good. I like the fact that michael cera states that he doesn't subscribe to a label.

He's the best young straightman of this generation, and maybe the one before this one.

I dont think Id put him in BEST actor territory, but his subtleties remind me of Ben Stiller

Maybe the next Stiller in comedy?!

I didn't put him into a best actor category, but as young straight-men go, he's quickly becoming the best of his generation.

Saw Burn After Reading last night and loved it.  Malkovich was great, as usual.

The Straight Story

Great - blew me away...
