You know, my generation is so lucky it got to experience childhood without videogames... and then the amazement of the very first really accessible home consoles... and here I've got to see and experience the evolution of videogames to what they are now.

I dunno, if I'm ever blessed with children I cannot imagine them humoring an 8-bit NES for two seconds... requires too much imagination, me thinks. Going full circle, just take football videogames as a perfect example. Used to, you had two options on offense - run or pass. And your football players were blue or white dots. Now you've got hundreds upon hundreds of plays, specific playbooks, audibles, all kinds of shit that I don't even understand. And game makers are being sued for using real life likenesses.
