QuoteNever mind, we're screwed.  :-/

Id be pissed if I was one of those players playing for a sugar bowl win after an undefeated season and coach just up and leaves. lame.

sounds like a few of the players didnt have kind words for him yesterday, although I havent actually seen/heard anything

It was announced today that BAMA has 6 All-Americans. That's a school record, the previous in one season was 4.

This is actually one of the finest All-American teams I've ever seen.

It does look pretty damn good...Id actually say the CB's are the weakest position and they arent bad at all.

Any idea where Arenas is being projected? Because of his size, Id guess 3rd round but I dont know really.

Jared Odrick should have been the Big Ten player of the year and I think most years he would have made the all american team...not much of a chance this year with Suh and Cody though.

Everything I've read about Arenas' draft stock says round 3, or possibly round 2 for a team in need of a kick returner.

Angry Ewok

Although Arenas is a tad undersized, this season he has been incredible on defense. I still can't get over his interception in the endzone against Florida.

The Pro's will probably be looking at him as a return specialist, though. I'd love to see him go second round...  I think he still has a chance of breaking the NCAA record for return yards - - - but NOBODY is wanting to kick to him, unfortunately.

What are ya'lls thoughts on Tebow in the draft? I hear folks say he won't work in the Pro's, but if I was an owner I'd go for him as soon as I could...

I don't think he'll be nearly as successful if he goes pro. As a QB in the NFL, you gotta be able to throw some TDs and I don't see him being able to produce.

Tebow will go 2nd-3rd round to some team that runs the wildcat

He's got a pretty underrated arm. He may not have had the numbers this last season, but the offense unfortunately wasn't built around his throwing ability (possibly one reason they lost badly to Bama).

The Browns could pick him up early 2nd round or even 1st round if the organization is desperate enough. Sure it probably wouldn't be a technically good idea, but he's got the leadership and style that no one in that entire city apparently has.

Not saying the Mighty Quinn is the answer, but this would really surprise me.

I think its more likely an established, borderline playoff team or better would pick him. Not the Brownies.

Holy fuck, the ending to the Bowling Green/Idaho game. Good gravy that's exciting stuff.

Fo sho....that Freddie Barnes is straight ill. I know why he's a Biletnikoff finalist now.

Pretty sure he broke the NCAA record for most catches in a season tonight.

I wouldnt be surprised if he set the game record either since he got 17 grabs  :o

I'm about to start doing f'n cartwheels. 17-0 NU and the 2nd has barely started. FUCK YES!!!!!

Penny Lane

for the love of kirk herbstreit and all colors of sweater vests around the world, can we get a bowl victory this year!!

friday-pulling for PSU, too.
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

I think the PSU-LSU game will be good, but Darryl Clark has like 0.8 big wins in his career, so I expect LSU to win. I just hope its a good game.

And jeez....I think Mike Leach locked the wrong kid in teh electrical closet  ;D

Seriously, though...if youre going to do that to someone, the 1st thing you should probably consider is if his dad works for ESPN  :D

Last time MIZZOU faced Navy was the 1961 Orange Bowl with JFK in attendance. The Tigers won 21-14. M-I-Z...

What a disaster! Navy may as well have been playing the Colts or something... ;)
