Anyone catch Dexter last night? Yowza!! That was excellent! It seems like the "old" Dexter feel is back. Really looking forward to what's in store.

dexter like reverse baptized himself.  sweet storyline goin on.  interested to seeing how the season plays out for sure.  sundays are intense tv walking dead->dexter->homeland->boardwalk empire.

I feel like I should be watching bored to death but I haven't even bothered with it yet this season.

I thought the same thing. Reverse baptism! Shit's gonna get real crazy man.

**** SPOILERS ****

How awesome was it to hear Biney's voice as soon as Dexter took out Nick! That little smirk Dexter gives screams "I'm done with this light/dark duality struggle. It's time to give in & get my fun on"

I've been kicking around some ideas in my dome regarding the Doomsday Killer. One thing I've noticed that seems to be constant is the weird way Gellar is portrayed. Specifically in social situations. He appears to only have exchanges with Travis. Gellar never speaks to the victims & does not truly collaborate in their abductions/killings. He just guides Travis. Another thing that I found weird is that even after Gellar saw his picture in the papers & is aware that he is being hunted by the police, he still goes out in public places. That doesn't add up. Gellar is crazy smart, calculating & methodical. He wouldn't put himself at risk so easily. I'm starting to think that he is just a part of Travis's twisted pysche. Maybe Travis is a complete wacko & is imagining Gellar. Maybe Travis has already killed Gellar & went over the top crazy when he killed his mentor? Just a few thoughts.

The first episode of BBC/David Attenborough's Frozen Planet was quite simply amazing!

(the new Thundercats is pretty darn good too)  ;)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

spoilers in response:

that's quite the genius idea.  a fight club aspect would really take that young tom hanks to another level character wise.  the girl that quinn boned has gotta play into it in a bigger way than they're letting on too.

**** DEXTER SPOLIERS CONTINUED****

Agree with the ex-Gellar assistant being more than she seems. She's got that weird tramp stamp symbol on her back. I don't think Quinn saw it. He was fairly drunk when he banged her.

Another thing I thought of. Travis's parents died. I'm guessing at the same time. Perhaps Travis had something to do with it? He's already proven himself adept at hiding his dark side. I doubt he'd be unable to conceal his true self from his sister (the only person he seems to care about)

bowl of soup

Hello, my name is Bowl of Soup and I watch Gold Rush.  I'm not proud of this - it is horrible, scripted, and fake reality television.  That being said, the show absolutely transfixes me.  I think it is the strange facial hair - you don't get on the crew without flat-out weird facial hair:  Old man rocks the Papa Smurf, son has the stupid triple-Lenin goatee, another guy has gone full Stadler.

They are incedibly inept and their leader actually conviced them to follow him back to Alaska even though they dug up barley enough gold to fill my teeth last year.  I can't stop watching.  I hate myself.
I'm not saying it's easy...walking into sweet oblivion.

I gladly watch Storage Wars, so I feel your pain.

And I still have no clue what in the hell is happening on American Horror Story. Show is just creepy bad ass.

One of my friends described it as "Spooky Lost".    ;D  I watched the first episode and I liked it but it scared me so I stopped.   I prefer reading my horror.  I don't like to be startled.

Does anyone watch Modern Family?  I think it's the funniest network show going.   Ty Burrell is just great and the writing is very clever in my opinion.   There are some quickies that take a minute to even get sometimes similar to Arrested Development.

Take this classic exchange for example:

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

In response to all the Dexter spoilers--did anyone catch the homage to the Grant Wood painting "America Gothic" during Dex's trip to Nebraska?  Priceless!
On a separate note, my favorite TV right now:
1) The Walking Dead
2) Sons of Anarchy
3) Person of Interest
4) Homeland
5) Hell on Wheels
Fringe is also still very much on my must watch list!
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

All Time

4 - Masterpiece Theater ( W/ Alistair Cooke as host )
5 - Doctor Who

These two are still as great as ever. Masterpiece has lots of stellar programs (Lewis, Downton Abbey, Poirot, Zen etc...) and Doctor Who is even better under Steven Moffat at the helm, who replaced Russell T. Davies.

TEO

*American Horror Story
*Sons of Anarchy
*Harry's Law
*Breaking Bad
*House
*Parenthood
*Anything Bourdain

I tried to like Hell On Wheels, but it lost me after the first two episodes.  I don't know if it just seemed a bit cliched or what, but I stopped caring.  Family horribly killed during the war, seeking revenge, dark and quiet hero who's been wronged.  I can almost see the ending of this show allready:

Hero becomes great friend with the freed slave who knifed the boss man.  The come up with a scam to get a bunch of money out of the Star Trek guy.  Hero winds up with the girl who's man was killed by the Indians.  Indians will be portrayed as more savage than in most modern depictions, but in the end they will be the heroic losers on the show.

Now where is Walter White to sell them all some meth and poison all of the children and yet still have everyone voting for him?

I'm pretty geeked out about "How To Make It In America"!!!! I like the setting of the show and the ongoing plot. Just too bad that they only make 8 eps a season :( ::)

Didnt see this season because I didnt have HBO for the first half of it, but liked season 1 a lot.

That is weird that this season is only 8eps if true....Without sticking my head in the Walking Dead thread since this whole season is on my DVR and I didnt start it yet, is that show's season over as well?? No new episode yesterday, and there has only been 7 episodes so far this season (unless my DVR missed one).
