So I'm in sales and at this time of the year I am pretty much working until I go to bed at night, besides the hour I try to squeeze in for kickoxing and the occasional TV show.  My roomate, who is also in sales, works from home everyday and can pretty much decide her own schedule.

I find it difficult to sleep most nights due to the fact that my brain is always thinking about something work-related.  There are some nights where I rely on Tylenol PM to put me out.  I'm up early every monring for work, while my roomate sleeps until 8:30/9.  Fridays are the only days when I don't have to be up super early, so I enjoy being able to catch a few extra winks.

This morning was not the case.  At 4:45am I'm woken up to noises coming from the kitchen.  Apparently my roomate decided that it was the best time for her to wash all of the dishes she has been letting pile up in that sink as well as clean the rest of the kitchen.  Once I wake up, I'm usually up, and being pissed off on top of that doesn't help me relax.

I finally start falling back asleep as I hear her leaving the apartment, probably to go workout at the fitness center since she is obviously UP.  It's a short sleep as I'm again startled awake at 7:15 as she she is now cleaning the living room when she returns, yelling at her cat, and closing cabinet doors loudly.  It just boggles my mind since I am always the first one up and give her the courtesy of being as quiet as I can be so as to not disturb her.

So needless to say, I'm totally exhausted already.  Oh and in between sleeps I dreamt that she had hidden my "It's gonna be a bright, bright, bright sunshiny day" coffee mug and wouldn't tell me where it was so even my dream wasn't pleasant.

Meh.  >:(

End rant.

the only way you'll get that dude to remove anything is if you can think of a way to make him think you can sue him or something.  i've been using phrases like "we've talked to management, etc" "there will be a lawsuit if the media is not taken down"etc.  but as said on steamengine the admin is mod'ing comments.  

Penny you're a lawyer, is there anything illegal about ripping somebodies website and putting it up as your own??

hmm,  there's something about getting legal advice from a dude named chode that weirds me out...  I thought you were basically a lawyer you just have to take the bar exam?  who else is a lawyer here beside you and the chode?  can't say I give much of a fuck about the dbag stealing stuff, was more curious if you can stop people from making a mirror of your blog/website without your permission.

well that's why chode (the intellectual property guru can help)...the same rules that apply to stealing likeness in other areas of life don't always apply to the cyber world so i'm not sure. you don't really need facts to back up a C&D letter, it's just a scare tactic that usually works. i wrote one for American Apparel for my friend at work and it worked...

as for the other thing, not sure but i don't think i'm a lawyer because i'm not licensed to practice anywhere yet but maybe i am. i heard my friend call herself one and she took the bar but doesn't know if she passed yet so...i'm just hesitant to use that word probably. it congers up the idea that i know what i'm talking about. and i don't...
