I hate my job so much right now. So I get massively chewed out by a VP because someone I work with didn't like the answer I gave to a question and the fact that I gave the answer and turned around and went back to work. She felt I was belittleing her because I gave my answer quick and didn't further engage in any converstation. So that warrents me getting an ass chewing of epic proportion?! Fuck you. I hate that fucking job and want out so bad.

Sounds like my job...ugh.

Interview this Friday for me, same company new job...*fingers crossed*
We could.

That sucks, mjk...I've been in some similar situations recently.  Hang in there...hopefully a new job is not too far into the future...

Hey, you just had something to say! I agree, I might add. They've become buzzwords for people that don't think. I don't mind someone having different political views from me. But I hate when they get sucked in by the buzzwords. I feel the same for the left. Know what you are talking about, people. Although, I dare say, I don't most of the time ;D .

Fully, doesn't MMJ fandom and participation in this message board automatically put us in a enlightened category ;)?  Plus, if my 'forum memory' serves me correctly, you are a teacher.  With those credentials, I'm believing everything you say!

No doubt. Last time I checked, fascists and socialists were on the opposite end of the political spectrum and are mortal enemies.

MJK- There is nothing worse that someone who has an issue with you but chooses to address it with your boss instead of addressing it directly with you as logic would dictate.  A manager who yells and screams, especially w/o asking questions is not too far behind.  We shouldn't have to  navigate our co-workers' insecurities.  Hawkeye, hope your interview goes/went well.

I had an incredibly shitty day at work today and then at the end of the day my wife called to tell me that while she was sitting in the car,  with our dog, parked in a parking lot with the engine off outside the barber shop where my son was getting his hair cut, some jerk veered off the main road and slammed into the passenger side of her car shocking the crap out of her.

THANKFULLY, no won was hurt and both Beth and my 2 year old golden retriever are fine. Just a bit shaken up but no worse for where.  The car, well it will be in the shop for quite awhile.

We shared a nice bottle of wine tonight at dinner.  I guess this day could have been a lot worse.

Thanks Woody, miss you and all of your great spirit!  Hope our paths cross this summer.

And thanks Val.  Quincy is looking forward to playing with you when next you make it back to Long Island.

Glad everything is OK, Jeff. Car accidents are never pleasant. I was actually a millisecond away from getting rear ended on the PA turnpike this morning & it freaked me out for a minute. Definitely not a good way to start a Friday.

Hang in there, Meg! Sending good thoughts your way :)
Homer no function beer well without.

Yeah Jeff.  So glad to hear Beth and your dog are OK.

And best to Christie and you Todd.  It's great to hear your optimism.  My thoughts are with baby peafunk. :)
