Wait, BBill is actually here in town?!

;D No, I'm just goofin' around. I am full of whisky though. ;D Not BT, Macallan 12 yr.

Live update...bottom of the 4th. 3-2 Cards...

I thought Macallan was Scotch?

Game is pretty even so far but Carp has settled down since the first inning. Glad TEX got out of the bottom of the 4th. If Feldman falters, Ron will put in Wilson if he's smart. I wouldnt trust Ogandu after last night

Smacks forehead...

Scotch is whiskey from Scotland and by international trade regulations, only whiskey distilled in Scotland may be called Scotch and drop the 'E', hence BBill spelling of MacCallan as Whisky

Well Im not a big fan of Scottish whisky then  ;D
;D  Well you're insane then.  I love Macallan 12 though these days it's well beyond my price range.  Funny how I had way more money in college to buy Scotch when loans paid for bills while work money went to good times.

To my defense, Im not sure Ive ever had good Scotch. Anytime I go top shelf, its always bourbon. Ive bought the occasional $16 handle of Scotch and its not as good as the bourbon or canadian whiskey in the same price range (aka my typical price range)

If the Cards win two in a row I'm going to post a picture of missy may's naked vagina ass

yes, she has a "vagina ass",  Thank you Missy May for yet one more conundrum.
Hell, if the Cards win 2 in a row I may post a pic of my naked ass.

;D Way to school the pup, Rob! I love Scotch, Bourbon too. Cap...there's got to be a bar in Pittsburgh with a good Scotch menu...maybe an upscale hotel bar. Buying bottles of good Scotch can be excessive (at my booze budget anyway), but find a bar with good Scotch and go sample a few...see what you like. Scotch is magical.  ;D

I bought this bottle as a World Series bottle! Something nice to enjoy. It's not top shelf by an means, but still some good stuff.

This game is looking REALLY good for St. Louis going into the bottom of the 8th. BH is in the right spot...  8)

Nice read...So are you saying you regret to be a Cubs fan or are glad you are because you get to triumph the disappointment every year?

Hey, at least you arent a Pirates fan

So clearly the stars aligned this year because Pooholes is leaving to take the big paycheck and God didnt want his 10yr run in STL to be for nothing, right?

After they won the game, I think he was Tebowing by 1st base before jumping in the pile

You know, I can't remember either. My ass is nowhere near as great as her's or Misty May's.

Going out on top...

http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/7173381/tony-la-russa-st-louis-cardinals-says-retiring

I think he'll be back coaching for another team (maybe not next year). He's just sticking it to the Cardinals.

I saw that coming I must say.   I'm gonna miss him.   Scotty, he won't show up anywhere but the Cardinals front office or nothing.   Count on that.   And I'll bet you Pujols is back with the Cardinals.   They just made over 50 million on the additional World Series games alone.

I heard something about STL not wanting to keep or re-sign LaRussa last year or maybe it was if they didnt do anything this year they wouldve hired someone else. I could see LaRussa leaving now as kind of a "told you so" type of thing but who knows.

I dont see how they cannot sign Pujols. Franchise player and you just won the WS. How can you rationalize getting rid of your best player after doing that? There would be mutiny by the fans if they didnt re-sign him, and deservedly so

There would have been a mutiny regardless of the WS win. Tony and his Wife will be able to enjoy live and going to more shows now. She is a huge music nut and loves metal and hard rock. One of my good friend's brother is the drummer in a fairly well know band and has gotten to know her and Tony. The Larussa's are very nice people. Tony will be missed.

No, not Spinal Tap. But having seen them about 10 times, theirs certainly go to 11.

Being a Marlins fan since the beginning I still don't know how I feel about the new uniforms.  The logo is ok but the color scheme I am not feeling.  Might have to still rock the old school teal & black for a little while until it grows on me.  Just hope they spend some money and put some players around guys like Stanton, Johnson, and Hanley.  Here's to hoping for a better 2012 and beyond.

Time to get this ol' thread goin' for the year. How are your teams doing so far?

Cain's been earning that money his last two starts! Was last night's game nationally televised, and if so, did any of you see it? Both Cain and Lee were outstanding, it was really a treat to watch.

I think the AL East will be a bloodbath this year, moreso than in recent memory.
