QuotePicked up four newbies this weekend. Mad Anthony Brewing Co., Fort Wayne, IN-IPA, Dragonfly IPA, Upland Brewing Co., Bloomington, IN,  Long Hammer IPA, Red Hook Brew,  Mad Hatter IPA, New Holland Brewing, Holland, MI. Loved the Dragonfly and the Mad Anthony seems good so far, zingy in a way. Have yet to try the other two.
The Longhammer seems grainy, highly unusual in an IPA. Not overly sweet ass barleyed, not overly hopped. Will not buy again.

I had no intentions of buying any beer today, but when I was told about Stone's Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale, I couldn't resist.  It was described to me as dark as a stout, but flavored like an IPA  :)

Ive been l-i-v-i-n.

Sipping on this for the first time. It was discounted $10 for some reason and Ive liked almost every Great Lakes brew Ive tried, and figured this 1 was a sure thing since it was an Ale. Not that Ive had a lot of ESB's, but this is the best one Ive ever had. Good aroma, good flavor, but the kicker is it's drinkability. Im sure Ill be 8 deep by the end of the night  8-)

Maybe Im just usually too drunk to care about the glass, but isnt that a lot more lace that the head left behind than most beers?! Not sure what to make of that.

Background is included to prove I was a Pens fan before the Crosby era Leon  >:(
