I finally tried Dale's Pale Ale last night, on tap. It was much better than I was expecting.

Dale's is one of my favorite beers.  It is definitely my favorite beer that is only sold for package in cans!

I tried my first homebrew made from all-grain. WoW!  Whole new ball game.  It's a variation on a recipe for Flying Dog's Doggystyle APA.  I also dry-hopped it in the keg.  Man, it's so smooth! I think I'm going to tweak this recipe (dial it back a little) and make it my "housebrew".

Dales is the greatest. DPA is my standby for all occasions. If I can't decide what to get, I get a case of DPA.

Never had that Rising Moon and its going out of season so I figured Id try it. I forget their entire draft list, but most of the good stuff I think is owned by ABC anyway.

I was pissed they didnt have Arrogant Bastard anymore though!

I'm just not a fan of fruit beers at all, so I like to pretend that I am superior to them.

Randall was out of commission when I was at DFH. However, I experienced a similar event at Brickskellar in DC, where - surprise! - my beer was actually in stock.

Those of you who have been there probably know what I'm talking about.

I caught Randall when he went on tour.  It was a Schafly APA dry-hop with Cascade hops.  Yum....
