Some nice selections. I tried Molson Red once, and I enjoyed it. If I remember they had funny sayings under the cap. Got pretty jacked up on it before I went out sledding.

Ok, so here's a round up of what I've been consuming lately that have rocked my pants

1) Lagunitas - A Lil' Sumthin - stronger IPA-type ale...fairly bitter, 7.5% abv, but not a bitterness bomb like a Bastard
2) DFH/Stone/Victory Saison Du Buff - Special brew, 1 recipe being brewed at each brewery. It starts off like a spiced IPA and finishes like a Delerium Tremens
3) DFH - Bitches Brew - 9% ABV, haven't had it yet (it just shipped) but it's been distro'd to like 30 states. I'm gonna get it on general principles

Ive never had any Lagunitas brew...As someone who typically prefers beer trending towards hoppy, whats the best to try first?

Any idea how much that Bitches Brew is going for for a case? At 9%, Im guessing like $45-50.

Had my first Oktoberfest last night (Sam Adams)....When I saw it on tap last week, I couldnt believe summer was basically over. At least football is here and Oktoberfests are great.

Lagunitas is odd...they must just have great marketing because I don't really know if I've ever had their normal brews. I typically become a sucker for their music themed beers or one of their limited editions, but at the same time, I've NEVER had a bad one by them.

As far as the Bitches Brew, I think that's only coming in large bottles, so a case will cost you your first born.

Hoping this new joint near me that has 40 micros on tap is getting this one then!

Just had Dogfishhead Namaste. Pretty damn good as far as wheat beers go. Made with corriander, orange & lemongrass. I would recommend it

I sound like an amateur stating this but last night was my first time for Sam Adams. But I love it now so I can move on with my life as a peon.
The time is near, to come forward with whatever killed your spark.

It may only exist in a craft style big bottles. It's the only way I've seen it bottled so far. But if you like wheat beer I'd suggest you seek it out

Defnitley had an amazing time in Philly :) If you can't find it, let me know. I am going to the T5 shows & I'd be happy to snag a few bottles & set them aside for the rocktober awesomeness that is to come!

I had some friends in town from Leeds tonight and they were very keen to try some American craft beers   ;D

We tried the Goose Island Nightstalker and Three Floyds Topless Wytch among others.
if it falls apart or makes us millionaires

Need to purchase a case of beverages for the draft tonight and over the weekend. So

How is this Sierra Nevada Tumbler Autumn Brown Ale??

Is it like an Okfest, similar?

I need some peeps to drop knowledge on this stat. Im either getting a case of this or Sam Oktoberfest

I changed my avatar to my favourite beer: Mill Street Tankhouse (dark, hoppy American-style pale ale). It's a fast-selling and growing micro brew from Toronto.

I just saw that at the store last night and wondered how it was.  Bells Best Brown Ale is hard to beat but I'm also a fan of most Sierra Nevada offerings.  I'd be inclined to try the Tumbler ahead of Sam's Octoberfest but I'm not a big Sam Adams fan so that would explain my personal pereference.   :D

I finally tried Dale's Pale Ale last night, on tap. It was much better than I was expecting.
